Good morning, everybody!

Happy Fri-Yay! My son did get his first paycheck yesterday and was pretty excited. I think that today is the day that my daughter receives her CPA score result. They have changed the way they administer the test. Now the applicants take one section at a time. When I took it, all four parts had to be taken.

I remember my first day at my first job right out of college. I was a little early and met with another woman who was starting that day. I was so intimidated by her because she had a perfectly tailored suit and looked completely put together and I was a big dork.

We got to know each other as we started work, and one day she told me that while she was waiting with me that day, she was incredibly intimidated by me, because I had passed the four parts of the exam in one try, while I was still in college, without taking a commercial review course. So, I guess you never know what other people are thinking.

I have been trying to do a lot of stretching of my shoulders (Child's pose, elastic bands, passthroughs with PVC pipe, etc.), it seems like I am starting to see some progress. Last night, I was able to do 5 rounds of run 400 and 15 95 pound overhead squats. I was a hot sweaty mess by the time I finished.

QOTD: So far, not so bad. But if we don't have college football, it will be problem.

Breakfast: protein bar

Lunch: steak

Snack: nuts

Dinner: Pizza

Have a great weekend all!

My younger son is waiting on the same day. I think Emmie did World History and he did U.S.

good morning All!

Happy to be at Friday, and it's the last work one for the next two weeks. I'm taking 8 working days in a row off. Haven't done that since 2013 I think. Still planning to go see my Dad on next Wednesday if the airline lets us, but we cut our trip in half (so sad, Cape Cod will have to remain on the bucket list) and decided to take the new RV out to a private beach area campground. Social distancing will not be a problem there and we can do a shake out trip and make sure everything is functioning as it should. I think we'll have WIFI (ok, so glamping, not camping) and will still have access to this thread. This weekend is all about organizing what I need to pack for CT and what I need to have ready for the campground.

QOTD: I only care that the kids are not out playing, socializing and building life skills at Tee Ball, Soccer, etc. I am really depressed by seeing these young kids with masks on. I feel like their childhood is being stolen or something. I know it can't be helped, and we all have to do it, but it makes me sad.

I ended up baking the chicken legs last night instead of air frying them because they were huge! Damn pterodactyls or something. But I made a cream/vinegar soak for them, and then did a dusting of parm cheese with a little bread crumbs. SO GOOD! Even counting all the ingredients, I had a good day both calorie and protein wise, though I was a bit higher in carbs then usual. But my weight is staying withing the same pound and a half. Doc says my labs were great. Still need to bring my protein levels up a bit, but I'm getting close to normal.

Menu:

B: coffee and 1/2 PP shake

L: chicken leg and roasted carrots

D: I've got a brisket drying out with a dry rub on it in the fridge. Not sure what I'll make for sides, but I am trying to clean out the fridge before vacation starts.

S: 1/2 PP shake and if needed, beef jerky (boy did I need this yesterday.)

Love all the pics! Peace Everybody!

G'morning everybody!

JB - I will be looking for that cheese bites at TJ on my next trip. I'm already salivating.

We are in pre-staycation mode. DH starts his today. Today is also DS's last day of work. I'm a free loader so no change for me. All this because DD is arriving tomorrow for 10 days. The excitement is just unbearable. Haven't seen my girl since xmas and can't wait to hug her. Tomorrow we are all going to the airport. In the past every time she came back home only one of us would go to the airport to pick her up, but tomorrow we are ALL going. No firm plans while she is here. DH has planned some over night camping trips but we'll see how she feels about it. She is a little bit paranoid coming from DC about social distancing, she forgets how much space we have here with state parks. Anyway, we'll just go with the flow.

JB QOTD: nope. Not a sports watcher so don't miss them. I watch world cup soccer every 4 years and the olympics. Come to think of it we should have had the Olympics this summer, OK that one I'll miss.

Janet QOTD: got a buzz cut about a month into quarantine. The hairdressers opened up around 3 weeks ago so I got my hair cut fixed and colored.

Accountability: yay again!

My meals yesterday:

B:protein coffee

L: TJ chicken fajita

S: chili lime quest chips + HB eggs

D: skipped

E: 6.1 miles wog

My pics are DS's "new" car. He is the epitome of the 70s surfer dude. All he needs now is a hacky sack.

Have a great Friday and weekend, everybody.
