What's on your Wednesday Menu?
Good morning, everybody!
I watch a lot of DIY and/or HGTV Channel at night, and last night there was a woman who 1) cut down her own trees, 2) milled her own lumber, and 3) built her own house. Her house was about 2200 square feet and cost her $5,600. What an amazing woman she was.
We can hardly see out of our windows because of all the condensation on them. It's going to be a hot, humid day.
QOTD: I never learned to drive a standard. My bra experience has been limited to the unhooking part, not that I am particularly adept at that.
Breakfast: Protein Bar
Lunch: Hello Fresh
Snack: nuts
Dinner: TBD
Have a great day, all!

I could definitely see Karen, her husband and Lily dominating that timber, but this woman had a husband who was disabled and pretty much did it by herself with some volunteers.

Good morning! Work looks to be slow today, and I have a PT appt -- so that's all the excitement I have. Guess it's the lazy days of summer for me right now. I met a friend for dinner last night. We are outdoor or take out only here, and they have a huge patio, so it seemed comfortable and safe out there. We shared our chicken fajitas and still took home leftovers. I was way under in calories yesterday, but high in protein. Scale is up this morning a bit. I hate that scale. LOL.
Bra = hook in front and twist. I'm always shocked when I find out some ladies can slip their arms in and hook from behind. Hell, some days I have a hard time reaching back to UNhook and get out of it!! Uhm, for me, being married for nearly 40 years means I can look down at my hands real quick and know which way is left, JB. The one with the wedding ring on it. It's a miracle we've been together this long considering the number of times I've said go right and pointed left. One more thing -- a friend gave me a set of either crocheted or knitted hot pads. I love these stupid thing. I have not been able to find a hot pad I like in a dozen years. So I want to learn how to make them. My crocheting skills are extremely limited to a single chain, so I need to up my skills game in that area and figure out how to make these.
Menu:
B: Coffee and 1/2 PP shake
L: more left over Chipolte's chicken bowl
D: making beef enchiladas tonight. Making real ones for the hubs and going to create a tiny little "casserole" style for me with no tortillas. We'll see how this works out.
S: 1/2 PP shake and beef jerky if needed
