What's on your (PHOTO FRIDAY) Menu?
I have not seen them but will drive by it this summer to check them out. SIL stayed there a couple of times for work functions.

The more acidic the soil, the more likely that the hydrangeas will be blue or purple. Cape Cod generally has very acidic soil which is why they are rarely pink here. In fact if you plant a pink one here and don't do anything to make the soil more alkaline they will change color over time. I love the blue ones so I am happy.
ETA: apparently a rusty nail raises the acidity- no need here!

I have no luck with hydrangeas. I plant them they don't bloom for a couple years then after they bloom they end up dying I wish I could get them as beautiful as yours

I have the opposite of a green thumb, but hydrangeas and rhododendrons just grow like crazy on Cape Cod. It must be the sandy soil and the damp air, coupled with high acidity.

Good morning! Last night I tried a new beginner's yoga class on You Tube. Felt very simple, relaxing, opening up your inner core like. This morning I don't have a muscle on me that's not asking what the hell I did last night. Yay for that and I plan on going home after work and doing it again. I am in for a quiet weekend until the Hubs returns Sunday afternoon. A little shopping, a little cooking and a list of drawers I haven't cleaned out yet that I want to get accomplished. Sunday evening we meet on the gorgeous, huge, outdoor patio of a friend with views to forever to evaluate and award our 2020 Grants for the non-profit we founded. It's always cool to narrow it down and make awards to the kids. We have three serious contenders, so it will be interesting where we land. Excited about the meeting and more excited to share the news with the kid(s) who won.
QOTD. No. Freaking. Way.
Menu:
B: coffee and 1/2 PP shake
L: Emipie egg salad and maybe a few Whisps
D: 3 oz ground beef, marinara, parm and served over a half cup of spaghetti squash
S: 1/2 PP shake. Beef jerky if needed.
I heard on the radio today it's National take your pet to work day. My boys were already in the car, so that worked out well. Here they are at work, behaving by being in our "socially distancing transit zone".
Peace, Everybody! Have a great weekend.

G'morning everybody!
JB - that pic of you guys with Minnie ears is just too adorable!
Today is my third surgiversary. The surgery made me go back to the person I was before I became obese; happy, outgoing, fearless. During the years of obesity I had become introvert (nothing against introverts but that's not my personality), and would find any excuse not to meet new people because I was worried I would be judged by my weight...I know, shallow. I can't say it's been smooth sailing the whole three years but I'd say 80% of the time I enjoyed the ride. The bumpy part is always me testing the limits and trying to circumvent the no-sweets rules. I'm looking forward to more years of stable weight and enjoying life without food/diet being my main concern. Let me know if I'm over sharing but I always take a pic on my surgiversary so here are the last three years.
QOTD: in a heartbeat. I had actually thought of it when in high school but when I realized you practically have to be an engineer I gave up on it. If astronauts had to study humanities instead of science I would have done it.
My meals yesterday:
- B: protein coffee
- L: Costco chicken skewers + 2 tbsp toasted sesame seeds
- S: PP pudding
- D: chicken drumsticks
- E: 6 miles wog
Happy fri-yay, everybody.
