Good morning everyone! Thank you all so much for your well wishes on my mom yesterday, it's very kind. She's doing well today so forward progress is underway!
qotd - no, i have never run for anything, no interest in changing that!
i have to catch up on my Pilates classes so I'm doing a two hour block tonight, will be the first time I've done a double since February so I'm looking forward to it! They have had very good protocols since they reopened last month but I've heard that next week they are going to make masks optional for clients (staff still mandatory). Will be paying attention to how many people are using them and may have to make changes. I plan on continuing with it though.

Beautiful morning out! Today I am probably going to teach SIL how to kayak (I have 2 kayaks and can wheel them around the corner to my pond).
I had another coffee meeting yesterday. It turns out that this guy works with a friend of mine in real estate and in community theatre. Another nice guy who I wouldn't mind seeing again maybe.

Good morning! I feel like a new woman this morning. I slept through the night last night and I took 2 naps yesterday. The lack of sleep finally caught up with me yesterday. Today is going to be a good day and I am feeling productive. More painting is on the agenda and organizing. You don't realize how much randomness your kids have until they move out and you are left to deal with it.
Food was good yesterday. I am feeling like I am in a better place mentally and emotionally. I didn't make it grocery shopping yesterday. I may attempt it today. I used to really enjoy grocery shopping, but with covid, it's not so fun.
QOTD- I was FHA vice president in high school.
Food plan for today-
2 eggs with siracha
1 can of albacore tuna with pickles, onion and skinny girl poppyseed dressing
Stuffed chicken breast for dinner and steamed spinach
I also made a pitcher of my favorite tea. I used lemonade crystal light, 5 bags of tazo passion tea and 5 packets of stevia in the raw. It's my version of the Starbucks shaken lemonade. It so good and it helps me get my fluid in.
Have a great day everyone. Be kind!
Good Morning and Happy Friday-Eve! Sorry I was MIA yesterday, rough day. Tuesday afternoon rumors started flowing and after a meeting early yesterday morning I found out I'm being laid off as of July 17th. I've been with my company 18 years and yesterday was the family gathering to honor my friend I lost on Sunday. I am feeling in a fog today and waiting for some of the official information on what the exit plan will look like and what I'll need to do to assist for those who are staying.
Accountability: I added a protein bar and peanut butter crackers in the evening that were not on my plan for the day.

this is just so awful. I hope the layoff ends up being temporary - or that there are other good job prospects out there for you. This kind of thing is so many people's worst nightmare, and it's been happening a lot lately because of financial problems due to COVID. My sister survived a bloodbath a couple of weeks ago - luckily, her position was saved - for now - but there will very likely be another round in six months. It's horrible living like that.
