What's on your Thursday Menu?

Hey, Menu Pals!
We're more than half way there! And for me--it's my Friday, again! I'm loving these long summer weekends! The one thing I will say about working M - Th, is that I am still working 40+ hours I am just doing it in fewer days... not exactly the point, but I guess it makes the day off feel even more deserved. I just wish I didn't have to take a vacation day to do it, since I'm still putting in the hours.
Yesterday was my third day streak of getting back on track with food. I have stayed really low in points and don't feel deprived and want to graze or hunt for something to satisfy me. Not sure exactly what changes on the days when I feel ravenous vs. the days when I feel indifferent towards food. I never know if it is mental or physical! But wither way, it is nice to have a break from feeling unsatisfied for a bit. I hate chasing that feeling!
QOTD: Have you ever run for something or been elected to an office? I watched a cute episode of The Wonder Years last night when Kevin ran for class president, which made me think of today's question. Personally, I never had any interest in it as a kid. But as an adult, I was elected to be Board President of a local non-profit. I was also elected to my condo board. And people encourage me to run for local office all the time, but I think it would make me miserable. Maybe School Committee someday...but not until I retire!
Morning! We changed out the comforter on our bed from the winter to summer one and I slept so much better last night. Something I didn't realize until moving to the south: you can't set the A/C on however low you want when it's mid-90's during the day and not expect your A/C unit to freeze up. I sleep best when it's 70 degrees or less. We have it set on 74 right now. Also, you may go broke paying your electric bill!
QOTD: Hard no from me.
My Food:
- Coffee w/ Cream x3
- Eggs, Cheese, Sausage, Cucumber
- Dinner TBD, the last two nights I've had meat sticks, cheese, and crackers and no motivation to make anything real for dinner.
I got my CT results for my hip yesterday, but sadly they didn't include any measurements which is the part I really care about. So I will continue to wait until next week to know what type of surgery I'll have.

Good morning all! Not sure why I'm so sleepy this morning since I went to bed earlier. I was so exhausted last night. Well I keep going back and forth on names for the kitten. Right now it's between Jellybean, Lucy, Blossom and Tulip. Trying to find something that suits her personality as she's very playful, energetic and super sweet. Also very vocal. Been bringing her out for short periods to meet my resident cat and try to get them used to each other. But Chester wants nothing to do with her and just growls and hisses.....sigh. Hopefully he will eventually come around! I got her new litter box yesterday, but it does not fit in my bathroom. I did not realize how big it was going to be. Technically it's fine that it doesn't fit because my bathroom isn't going to be the permanent location for it anyway. Just have it set up that way until the two cats can get along and I no longer have to keep them separated. Hopefully it doesn't take forever.
Accountability was pretty good yesterday and I stayed on plan. Yay! Those days seem to be getting few and far between. I really need to learn self control!
QOTD: No, definitely not! Not my kind of thing since I'm a hardcore introvert! Lol
B: premier shake
B2: coffee w/Splenda X 2
L: 2 oz chicken breast and a hard boiled egg

S: L&F yogurt and fruit
Surgery: RNY on 1/23/19
Good morning menu friends! A muggy hazy day here in the cornfields of Illinois. Miss Lily and I have our first walk in and will do more later. Accountability was spot on food and stepwise and weight is 120.6. My shoulder seems to feel better after the cortisone shot yesterday. I'm hoping it gives me relief for a long time as the next step would be an MRI to check tendons and ligaments and referral to a surgeon. I really don't want any more surgery but I'm only 60 and too active to not be able to raise my arm above shoulder height. QOTD no never. Here's the food plan B 1/2 c steel cut oats with protein and peanut butter L 3/4 c southwest chicken soup D4 oz grilled salmon. Stay safe and have a great day full of healthy choices!
