What's on your Monday Menu?

Ha, I would hang out on your porch swing, too! Have fun at the party :)
Mornin' All!
yay!! Weight is way down this morning - lower than it's been in awhile. Evidently all the water I've been hanging on to since my colonoscopy last week is finally GONE!!!! Other than Saturday (dinner at MIL's), accountability has been good, too!
so it's supposed to rain today, so no biking or walking. But I may go to the gym and do weights. Busy day though (at least for a retiree): online Mah Jongg at 10:00, vet appt at noon, committee meeting on Zoom at 1:30. Then I absolutely HAVE to finish up a project for the organization I chair...I've been sitting on this far too long. It'll take a couple of hours for that - so, there goes the day!
I found a woman online (she now lives in California) who grew up in my house in the 1960s. I actually originally wrote to her a couple of months ago, but she's rarely on FB, so she didn't see my message until this weekend. I sent her some photos of what it looks like now, and she's going to dig up some from back when she lived here. Can't wait to see them!
QOTD: I wasn't really into movies when I was a teen. Some I remember going to were Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, The Sting, Godfather II, and the first Star Wars. I liked them all, but I don't think they spoke to me. As for my generation, we were pretty apathetic (I'm a late Boomer). I always wished I was part of the earlier Boomers, many of whom were very politically aware and active. I'm so appreciative of the current group of youth, too (those now in their teens and early 20s). It's great to see youth *****ally care about issues again -- and are very vocal about them!

Love the outdoor oasis and plant stand! You and Grim have really been using this time to beautify your surroundings.
All I can say about my eating yesterday is PIZZA. But my weight is in range and I haven't had it for ages so I am okay with that.
QOTD: The only movie I can really remember about being a teenager (because I have seen it many times) is Breakfast Club.

Good Morning! JB- love your outdoor space, looks very inviting. I had a rough weekend, a dear friend passed away yesterday and I'm at a loss. I was able to see her through that exterior window of her ICU room and thankfully her husband and sons were finally able to be on the room with her yesterday before she passed (her illness was not COVID related).
Accountability: Not too bad.
QOTD: hmmm, I can't think of one but will check the thread later (getting ready for a meeting) and I'm sure I'll have an "ah-ha".
