Good Friday morning all! It's finally here! My accountability was better than it's been in awhile. Managed to stay under 800 calories. Normally I'm between 800-900. I am NOT happy though this morning as I was up another 8 ounces. I had some watermelon last night though for my evening snack and I always seem to gain when I ea****ermelon. I'm guessing from all the water content. So even though I technically know that it still hurts to see that number on the scale. Sigh...

Went to the dentist yesterday and one of my wisdom teeth (yes, I still have all 4 of my wisdom teeth) has a very small cavity starting to form. It was there at my last visit and was told they would just monitor it and that it really didn't need to be filled unless I wanted to. Yesterday I was told it looked the same as it did last time, but that I should probably just go ahead and get it filled and out of the way since it's hard to reach to brush, but it was no rush to get it down. So got an appointment to get that done in August. They always want to take my wisdom teeth out every time I go in, but since they don't bother me at all I'd rather just keep them. Something about having them removed scares me to death! Lol. My dentist said if they don't bother me than I can keep them so that's my plan! Haha

Gonna try to eat super healthy this weekend since my friend wants to meet for lunch tomorrow at Olive Garden....starting our monthly lunch dates again now that the restaurants have opened back up here. She just found out she's having another little girl who's due In December! Then Sunday I'm meeting my brother for brunch and then it's off to our parents to spend fathers day with dad. Gotta make his pie l tomorrow too and some sugar free blueberry muffins I'm taking them....well for mom at least. I know dad won't eat anything remotely healthy! Lol. Mom will though since she's a diabetic.

QOTD: unfortunately no. We lost touch years ago. I did look her up ok Facebook back in my early twenties and we communicated a bit. Just wasn't the same and we are both no longer on Facebook so we don't talk period anymore. It's a shame though because we were super close as children....did everything together and had so much fun. But life happens and I guess we just grew up and grew apart.

I still have all my wisdom teeth. I ditched one dentist because he wanted to pull them out, but all the other dentists I've had are of the same opinion as yours - if they don't bother me, then it's up to me. I did have to have one filled a few years ago, but other than that, I've never had any problems with them.

Me TOO! I got my wisdoms as well. I had 4 pulled to get braces as a teen so I'm keeping these.

All 4 wisdom teeth are still there for me, too. Same with my brother and my kiddo!

I had impacted wisdom teeth when I was in my 40's and had to have emergency surgery to remove them. The dental surgeon said that I was a poster child for why they should have removed my wisdom teeth when I was in my teens.

Morning! It's humid here this morning too. I just got back from a walk/run and it's 68 and 96% humidity, which means it feels like it's about 90 already (minus the sun). I had my CT scan on Wednesday and now I'm hoping like heck they post the results in the portal quickly so I can read them!

QOTD: This is an interesting question for me. My oldest friend was someone I met when I was 2 years old and she was 4. She was our closest neighbor and her mother babysat me before Kindergarten. We were inseparable until she met her now husband at age 15. I still talk to her nearly every day (on FB messenger mostly) and I value her friendship. BUT, we are very different people. I'm introverted, logical, analytical, science based, and tell it like it is. She's bubbly, overly friendly, hates confrontation, and is quite conservative and religious. So, although I talk to her regularly I no longer feel the desire to actually spend time with her. She lives in GA and I live in NC. I've been down to see her twice, but it wasn't my cup of tea either time so I've given up on that.

My Food:

  • Coffee w/ Cream x3
  • Eggs, Sweet Potato, Bacon, Cauliflower
  • I think I'm going to try and make something Chicken Parm like without the frying or the bread crumbs
