Good morning! I am driving round-trip to Worcester today to see DD's new apartment and have early dinner with her at an outdoor venue. It will be 10+ degrees hotter than Cape Cod so I need to figure out what to wear. I think long pants will be too hot.

QOTD: I was not comfortable being on stage though I was cast as the witch in Wizard of Oz once during Junior High (aka Middle School plus a year or 2 these days). I think I was given the role because I could memorize the lines. DD and DS went to private theater classes during their elementary years and both acted in multiple plays. DS had a starring role in one. Alas, neither one wanted to continue once they hit their teens.

TSS: 4 years, 2 months

B: Coffee! Eggs and cheese

L: Ever roast chicken and laughing cow cheese

D: Baked haddock (or scallops) and veggies

S: blueberry lemon yogurt pie and/or WW one point blueberry muffin

Good Thursday morning everyone.

I'm in an immense amount of pain this morning. Not sure what the heck is going on. It started yesterday. I'm going to assume part of it is the weather. We have a chance for rain that we desperately need. I didn't sleep all to well. Had one chunk that was almost 3 hours but after that it was tossing and turning. A few tears of frustration and pain were shed too.

broken record I know.

i have to go see the eye doctor for the follow up to my test last week. I'm hoping it'll go as quickly as last Friday but my hopes are not that high lol

qotd:I was in 1 play as an icicle and boy did I hate that. I'm not even in one of my HS year books. Not in my own pic but also managed to miss the day for orchestra pics. Hahahaha I hated the school atmosphere.

b:oatmeal

l:pho veggie broth and 1.5 oz of 96% ground beef

Back from the day full of funsies.

i have to have laser treatments in each eye. First one up is the left eye next Tuesday. The right on the 9th. I'm pretty upset. I thought I was doing ok. My doctor even asked if I had fallen off the wagon. When I told him my last A1c he was surprised. He then asked if I have had stress....uh just a tad. Now let's add more crap to that pile.

Good morning, everybody!

We moved into our current house during February of 2004. At some point, when we lived in our old house, I went for a trip to Costco. I loved going to Costco; walk around, sample the snacks, look at the wine and books, you know the drill. Any ways, when I got home, Marilyn was waiting for me. At this time, we had a new baby boy and she would prefer that I spend my leisure time watching him rather than wandering around Costco sampling treats.

"Where did you go?"

I went to Costco to get a few things"

"What things did you get?"

"toiletries"

"like what, I buy the toiletries?"

"Deodorant, razor blades, those sorts of things"

"you didn't seriously buy more razor blades"

"Yeah, why?"

"You have a million razor blades"

Well, I will have you know, that as of this morning, I am down to the last three blades of the accumulation. Clearly, Marilyn was overreacting.

Other than that, I'm still sore from Monday and Tuesday. Basically, I have lunger's butt. 150 lunges with two 30 pound dumbbells in front rack position on Monday and 90 more unweighted lunges on Tuesday did me in.

QOTD: I don't recall being in any plays.

Breakfast: protein bar

lunch: chicken

Snack: nuts

Dinner: bratwurst

Have a great day, all!

my old office mates (this was awhile ago - before I started working at the university library) used to find it amusing that I washed out and re-used ziplock bags. I didn't throw them out until they were pretty much falling apart - or wouldn't close anymore - which happens at - I don't know - 30 or 40 uses? Maybe more? So when we got married, the office had a shower for us. Everyone gave me a box of Ziplock bags. This was around 25 years ago. To this day, I *still* haven't bought a box of Ziplock bags.
