Thank you all so much for your good wishes! My mom is stable, they haven't decided on plan of treatment because they need to check a mass they found in her heart and they can't do the MRI until tomorrow - after that we'll know more but she is doing well.

The hospital is only allowing one visitor per patient per 24 hours...and if you leave the building you can't go back in. She wants one of her friends to visit tomorrow and since we probably won't be talking treatment plans until Friday, that works perfectly.

also, public safety announcement - memorize at least one phone number. My mom sent me a text saying the ambulance was there but then didn't have her phone again until sometime last night after the EMT realized he had it in his pocket. We didn't know where the ambulance had dispatched from, what hospital they took her too and it's hard to find someone when that happens. After her surgery, when she came out of anesthesia, she was able to remember my sister's number (she had mine wrong by one digit) and the the hospital was able to call us.

I am so glad that she remembered one number. You must have been panicked trying to find her and not knowing what was happening.

Ooh Fabric.com! I want to live in your kingdom.

Hasn't the weather been unbelievable? I wonder if summers are always this nice, and I just don't know because I am usually in a freezing cold office?

I think that the weather is a bit nicer than usual after what I guess was an early washout prior to mid-May (which I missed thank goodness). I love Fabric.com! I decided to recover my screen porch cushions which were an ugly orange and brown. My fabric arrives Saturday!

Hi to all.

I'm feeling really rough this morning. Sore and an upset stomach. I'm just utterly exhausted. Have an appointment on zoom with my counselor. We also have the kids for a big chunk of the day. I'd rather go stay in bed all day.

qotd: lady Oney oatmeal of Etsy.

b: oatmeal.

rest of the day is up in the air.

Good morning, everybody!

I'm going to agree with Madison Rose that this week is moving fairly quickly. maybe its because I'm just back from vacation. We are actually shut down the week of July 4th, so it's vacation, two weeks of work, and then vacation again. Although vacation doesn't really matter if a client wants something because it's not their vacation.

Also, I managed to schedule a colonoscopy during my vacation week. Good times.
