What's on your Tuesday Menu?

I wish I never "broke the seal" to find out I wouldn't die if I ate something off plan. I was so happy without the crap because I was completely detoxed off of the carbs and I didn't care. I thought I had kicked the bad habits for good.
Good morning, everybody!
I am up super early because my son is now working. He has to be at work for 7:00, so, starting at 5:30, Marilyn tries to get him up and out of bed. Hopefully, this get easier as he gets used to working. I do remember how tiring the first few days of a summer job were. I woke up and read for awhile. Maybe I can take a nap later in the day.
You know how when you go on vacation, nobody realizes that you are on vacation for the first few days, but then when you return, people still think that you are on vacation? That is where I am right now. Hence the day napping.
QOTD: three months after surgery, I planned and had a sugar free cheesecake at Thanksgiving and struggled to digest it, so knew I wasn't really ready for carbs yet. At about six months, I had a chocolate covered strawberry and I think that was the first truly off plan thing that I ate. I remember having sushi at 4 months out and being shocked at how much I could eat.
Breakfast: Protein bar
Lunch: Hello Fresh leftovers
Snack: nuts
Dinner: Hamburger
Have a great day, all.

I remember going to a low budget wedding for a young couple who were paying for everything themselves. The meal was pretty much carb laden and nothing that fit my diet. So I grabbed a chocolate covered pretzel and decided that would be my dinner. I was sick for 4 hours till I got home and was able to bring it up. This was only last summer so I was almost a year and a half out. I have not touched a pretzel since.

Sounds like it was nicer there than on the Cape yesterday. We finally cleared late afternoon but it was quite chilly with a NE breeze. Even though the temp was mid-50's this morning you can feel that it will be much warmer today (and of course the sun is out). The sun always helps my mood.
QOTD: I had some clam chowder pretty early on because we stopped somewhere for lunch and I thought soup would be safest. I had the worst stomach cramps afterwards probably because the cream broth was so rich.

Good morning menu friends.
I'm not feeling great this morning. Very little good sleep. I'm soooooo very tired. BUT it's a busy day ahead. I have an appointment with my PCP later this morning. He's going to be upset that I haven't had my back surgery yet. It'll be nearly 8 months since I first went and saw him about getting help.
Hoping for a nap today as usual but I doubt it'll happen. Maybe a rest but I rarely really nap.
qotd: this morning I don't really remember. If I think of anything I'll edit it in.
b:1 cup Cheerios 1/2 cup almond milk
l:protein shake made with egg protein powder
D:thinking salmon

As an update.
the clinic failed to let me know my appointment was over the telephone. So it's rescheduled for next Wednesday in person.
not impressed, as usual.

Good morning, happy Taco Tuesday!
QOTD - It has to be something that was laden with sugar. I have RH, much better controlled now, but I'm sure it was something bready, covered in sugar that killed me. It's been 11 years, so I do not remember the specifics but I am sure it was my fault and painful!
Breakfast - Fasting, so hot black coffee, cold brew black coffee and topo chico
Lunch - Leftover panang curry with crispy tofu, garlic and oil jasmine rice, cucumbers with salad dressing
Snack - mango, cherries, a peach, (lots of fruits) and some peanut butter crackers
Dinner - up in the air, just depends on what I can find when we get home.
I hope everyone has a great day!
