What's on your (PHOTO FRIDAY) Menu?
Welcome to Friday! JB, you have to protect your days off! Something I eventually learned but should have done earlier in my career.
Yesterday I went to a Christmas Tree shop (a favorite on Cape Cod, just reopened) and to a jeweler. I am having my diamond resized for my right hand and my wedding ring made into a heart pendant with a small diamond dangling in the center (also a long-ago gift from DH). Picture of similar pendant:
QOTD: Summers were all about the beach for me. My first memories are from when we lived near Philadelphia and we would rent a cottage near the beach in Beach Haven NJ. After we moved to Massachusetts we went to the beaches on Cape Cod or we camped (usually in a campground with a pond). As a teenager, I hung out at the town beach on a pond essentially every day. And now I live on Cape Cod with multiple ocean beaches within 10 minutes and a beach on a pond around the corner.

OMG I love that pendant. You just put that in my head and now I am going to have to look into it. I have my mothers Marquis diamond I can dangle in the middle what a great idea.

Such a neat idea about the wedding band.
This is an old tradition in Italy, don't know if anyone does it here, but when the spouse dies the surviving one wears his wedding band behind hers, so a double band. But I like your idea better. It always makes me sad looking at my mom's finger with both wedding bands on her left finger.
