Her first ask was to come live with me for the school year..even this aunt knows better than to say yes to that, lol. Two weeks seems reasonable.

The whole school year? Uhm, yeah, nooooo!

I had somebody over, she was 18 when my oldest was 12. Looking back I am so happy her mom tagged along. If she was here alone the whole month, I don't know how I could have controlled her. Just because she was in US she thought she had free rein. Never again. It's a huge responsibility parenting somebody else's child.

Having said all of this, I'm sure you will have a ton of fun with your niece. You are the cool aunt!

Good morning! I am glad John had a good birthday but yes, pandemic birthdays are odd. All my children and I have had our birthdays this spring.

This morning is like a gift with the warmth and breeze. I have a feeling it will go downhill later but right now I am sitting on the deck enjoying it.

ETA: I forgot to mention that my nephew and his fiancé finally announced their 4.5 month pregnancy to the extended family last night. It has been difficult keeping quiet about it for the last 6 weeks.

QOTD: Usually the edge, but it can't be too hard. However sometimes I am in a middle mood. It is actually kind of odd that I like the edge because I like softer middles on most everything else. For instance, I don't eat the crust on pizza, don't eat the edge on pie, and hate the end piece on crusty bread.

hi all

coffee is going in the body so yay! I overfilled the reservoir so that was fun... I'm feeling a bit antsy this week and need to figure out a constructive way to fix that. work is going through more changes so I think that is it...

QOTD: I like the end piece right were the goo starts and the crunch begins. with ice cream... and whipped cream

Accountability: ended up with taco insides for dinner with green beans instead of the grilled chicken tostadas I planned. weight spiked a bit- probably water and salt

food plan today:

B: cauliflower oats again

L: probably veggies again and grilled chicken

S: shake?

D: unsure

s: lately been doing cottage cheese so that is yummy may have that.

So how I understand it you upended your whole life to move for a job that didn't even last a full year? Now you have 2 properties in 2 different states and they may furlough you? Wow, I do not understand how they can do that. That company completely sucks. I hope it is not a company I contribute to because if it is I will no longer use there services. THEY SUCK. Sorry I am just super mad for you.
