What's on your Wednesday Menu?
yea - it's not clear how many of these guys are married, since some don't put anything for their relationship status...they just leave it blank. Some do say they're divorced or widowed, though (and a couple were single). I guess I shouldn't have even been in that module in the first place, but I was just curious and made it very clear on my profile that I was just playing around with the app and NOT looking for a relationship (and said I was married). But yes - maybe some of these guys who left their relationship status blank ARE married and are looking for a fling - so they thought I was fair game (??)
Good morning! Happy B-day Grim, and here's to fun adventures to you both for the day! I saw a gorgeous sunrise on the way in this morning. Literally looked like a peach rising from the east. A sweet way to start the day. I've got a PT appt today and a telemed appt with my WLS surgeon today. Work is crazy and I'm 2 days away from one of my critical team members leaving on a 3 day vacation. I'm making sure I am staying nice and supportive of his time off, 'cause this chick is blowing this pop stand in Mid-July for 8 working days in a row. Nearly unheard of as I am the queen of extending a weekend by a day or two and calling that vacation. My Dad is nearly 83 and is driving his motor home back to Mystic, CT to see his family, and we are going to meet him there. It stands to be a good chance that this will be the last opportunity to hang out with him AND the CT family, so I've decided that I don't want to miss that. And then a couple days on (just near? A friend is loaning us his "cottage") Cape Cod. I think I will need to up my online shopping game to get a few things that fit for the trip.
QOTD: 2 birthday's really stand out. For my 50th, I didn't want a blow out party like we had held for my husband, so we rented a few rooms at a tiny hotel in Palm Springs and for the whole week family and friends took turns coming and staying and hanging out at the pool. And for my 52nd, my family sent me playing with the beluga whales at SeaWorld. I have always loved those guys. My very favorite marine animal. I loved one of them just a little less when I was done as she thwacked her tail in the water and completely doused me. But my kids fell over laughing, so it was a win all around. There is a video of that moment, and I can hear my son just crack up. Makes for a joyful heart.
