I forget sometimes that you are about the age that my eldest DD would be. She loved Cabbage Patch dolls too and I remember standing in line at Christmas to get her one. It was one of the only times I ever did that.

I hope you guys have a little more sunshine than currently predicted. It is pretty nice here right now. Happy Birthday John!!!

Today I hope to finally get new tires after calling once or twice a day to see if they have come in. Having to fill my tire every time I go out is a real pain.

QOTD: Possibly a necklace with my birthstone (aquamarine). Most of my other gift memories seem to be from Christmas.

B: Coffee! WW zero point banana/egg pancake

L: Tuna salad, pickles and cottage cheese

Good morning, and Happy Birthday to Grim!

QOTD - It was two years ago, and my husband bought me a charm for my JA bracelet. It was a ticket, and inscribed was "The Silver Scream". One of my favorite bands Ice Nine Kills released an album and was touring under the same name. I loved the charm, but then... There were tickets to a concert, to include a meet and greet! It was fantastic. I have followed this band since 2013, when they were a small, upcoming band and I met them a couple of times here in SA. Both the singer and the guitar player remembered me, and hugged me and it was fabulous. That's probably one of my favorite birthday presents ever, it was just so damn thoughtful and I have the charm to remember it for always.

Breakfast - Coffee, cold brew coffee (both black) and topo chico. Still fasting

Lunch - I'm gonna go to Singh's! They have this amazing vegan bahn mi with crispy tofu that I am dying for.

Snack - I have baked cheetos, and a mandarin

Dinner - Thinking schlotszkys for dinner. They have a really good veggie sandwich.

I hope you all have a wonderful day!

Christina

Good morning JB and Menuers,

Hope you guys have a wonderful day.

I have a pedicure planned for lunch so I got that going but the weather here is HOT! So Hot I went to the pool instead of running last night and It will be the same today. Just scorching High 90's with 70% humidity. The only good thing is storms are to blow through tonight and the high tomorrow is 78.

QOTD: I have a brother that wins at gift giving all the time. He bought me my first pair of roller skates in the 80's and they were awesome. He is the best gift giver. He even sent a flower arrangement to my mom for his 21St birthday with blue carnations and the card said "it's a boy". He is also the one who gave me my artist made M&M's.

Why does OH only display one page of pictures and you can not scroll through old photos you have posted. It ****** me off. You can see them in your profile but it won't let you scroll to post.

Accountability: I had a no bake Keto cookie and still trying to get of the crap creamer.

Morning everyone! HAPPY BIRTHDAY Grim! Hope you enjoy all your bacon and hope you both enjoy your adventures. I have to take my daughter to the high school today to pick up everything she had in her locker and the art from her art class. It is so sad that this is how we have to end the school year! Good news I'm finally feeling back to normal today from the sun poisoning. My stepkids also came home today so it will be a full house for the next few days!

QOTD: What was your most memorable birthday present? I was a single mom for 11 years so I had never been on a trip by myself without children. When I first started dating my fiance we had only been dating about 3 months but he took me on a 3 day cruise to the Bahamas. It was so special and meant so much to me that he had gotten my family to watch my kids for me so that I could get some time away for myself.

Good morning, everyone!

Happy birthday to Grim! As I recall, this is a big one!

Well this morning my teeth hurt and I'm sleep deprived. I was feeling stressed and depressed yesterday (and my eating last night was out of control because of it), so I was up until almost 4:00 a.m. looking at Bumble, among other things. My one friend whom I did A LOT with has really quarantined herself throughout this pandemic because she's afraid of her immunocompromised 70-year-old husband getting sick, which I don't blame her for AT ALL, but I think I need some more people in my life to meet up with occasionally. Since I no longer have in-person committee meetings or things like lectures or adult education classes to go to during the day, I need some more human interaction. Meeting someone for coffee or lunch occasionally at some cafe with outdoor seating would be wonderful. So I got on the "friend" part of Bumble. Only two women there. One lives 30 miles away and we don't have mu*****ommon, so I skipped her - but the second one might be OK. She's got some high-powered job which looked a bit intimidating, but we have a lot of common interests. And she lives in town. So we'll see if she "likes" me back. Just for curiosity sake, I temporarily jumped on the "dating" mode. I put on my profile that I'm married and not looking - that I'm just playing around with the app - but after getting a couple of "likes" (at 3:00 a.m.???), I got off. Sheesh. Lots of 55-70-year-old men looking for love, evidently. Actually, a couple of them looked pretty interesting, but then, I'm not in the market and not interesting in being in the market, either. Anyway, it was an interesting "activity".

I noticed that our public library has a subscriptioin to Mango languages, so I did the first couple of units on Italian. I'll keep up with this. Our trip was rescheduled to October 2021, so I have a lot of time to pick up some of the language. I know enough Spanish and French to kind of get by when we're visiting countries where those languages are spoken, and I'd like to do that with Italian as well. It'd be great to be able to read signs, understand almost everything on menus, be able to greet people, and be able to ask directions (and understand most of the response). So hopefully I'll be able to do that when we visit Italy. Makes life much easier...

QOTD: boy - I am drawing a blank here!

TSS: 5 y

B: yogurt pie (lemon/blueberry) with light Cool Whip, coffee with half & half

MS: Fit Frappe

L: Greek yogurt with 1/2 mango

AS: not sure. Probably a skinny bagel with light cream cheese and some kind of protein (looks like I don't need any more yogurt today...)

D: 2 Costco chicken skewers with peanut sauce, 1/4 C sweet potato casserole

ex: if it's not too humid, I'll go for a walk or bike ride this morning, but between the heavy rains yesterday and more expected this afternoon/evening, I'm guessing it's not going to be very comfortable out there...

Have a great day, everyone!

Good Lord - I just logged into Bumble again - 15 more "likes" from men (luckily on this app, only the woman can initiate contact on the "dating" mode, so I can safely ignore these people!). I don't know how I could have been more clear that I'm not looking - so they're either not paying attention or they think I'll change my mind. Anyway, at least it's good to know that if anything ever happened to/with DH, there are other people out there...I mean if I wanted to get involved with someone again...

Kind of creepy though that they jump on that fast and at 3 am! Makes you wonder about how many people "fool around" while married.
