The artwork is great. We made a really similar mural as the sigh language "love" last year in my school last year :)

The rug is my favorite part, too!
He is SO talented. I wish you could see the intricate dovetailing and the drawer glides and all of the other things that make it even more special than what you can see in pictures!
G'morning everybody!
Happy Friday! JB, love your outdoor furniture. It begs for the morning coffee and some of Grim's cookies to be consumed there. The side table is GORGEOUS, I'm specifically looking at the right corner with those stacks of cookies. Yum!
My son graduated yesterday. The parade was actually fun. The high school is on top of a hill and there is this windy road to get to the school. The car line started at the bottom of the hill. They had decorated the whole way, teachers were standing with various signs at various distances. Of course every time we saw a teacher that DS had I started crying. You could also hear loud music and the announcements. So every car had the name of the student. When you got close enough to the "podium" they would announce the name and all the cars would start beeping the horn. When they announced DS's name I was just bawling! One of his absolute favorite teachers (his AP English) was the last stop and when I saw Kye making the heart sign to her I just lost it. The teacher was crying behind her mask and I heard her saying don't ever cut your hair. DS said she always comments about his hair. Anyway, it was very emotional, although before hand I thought it wasn't going to be anything like a real graduation. We went out for lunch and then his best buddy, with whom he has been in school since kindergarten called to see if they can take their pic together. We went to the park across the street to take those last pics. And to make the day just perfect, DS and DH went surfing. He hadn't done that in months, somehow holding back or trying to tell his dad he doesn't wanna hang out with him. So it was very special for DH.
QOTD: I am a total city mouse. I love the museums, opera house, theatre, restaurants, cafes, culture and people watching. But I have become an ocean mouse and I enjoy my walks in nature. If I could choose I would go back to the city in a heart beat. Before the whole virus thing, with the excuse of visiting DD I was so happy to go as often as I could to DC. I guess you always want what you don't have.
My meals yesterday:
- B: protein coffee
- L: turkey avocado sandwich (skipped the bread)
- S1: fage yogurt + 30 choc chips
- D: pizza (ham + pineapple) skipped the dough, ate the top.
- E: 25 minutes cardio + 45 minutes strength training
Pics are from yesterday graduation.
Have a great fri-yay, everybody.

Congrats to DS.
When I posted Ocean Mouse to mine, I realized that an "ocean mouse" is probably a rat, but nonetheless, I am in.
