Good morning everyone and happy Friday at last! It definitely has been a long week for sure! No plans for this weekend and that's just how I like it! My accountability was good yesterday and I'm so close to my pre vacation weight. Less than a pound away! Hoping I'll get there by this weekend. It's been a struggle with the constant sweet cravings, but I'm determined not to give in!

QOTD: country for sure! Love the peace and quiet of the country. I always said I'd be happy living in the middle of nowhere surrounded by nature. Perhaps in the mountains next to a peaceful mountain stream. I don't mind the city at all, just wouldn't want to live there full time.

B: premier shake

B2: coffee w/Splenda X 2

L: 2 oz low sodium turkey and a hard boiled egg

D: Maybe a crustless veggie pizza bowl

S: L&F yogurt

Your patio area is so lovely!! I need to do some staging on the patio below my deck, mostly involving putting a hammock together and putting it out there.

qotd - city, city, city - pavement and streetlights are in my blood. I love walking around or sitting outside early in the morning while the city comes to life around me. I like quiet and peaceful too but after day 2, I'm usually ready for something else!

im looking forward to the weekend, my oldest niece and one of my sisters and I are meeting for socially distant pedicures tomorrow morning and then Sunday I am getting my hair cut and colored for the first time since Jan! I've colored it a few times home-style but that's just maintenance not a refresh. I need a haircut so badly. Also, I'm sure it's worth half a pound on the scale too -- I have a lot of hair.

menu today will be heavy on black pepper turkey breast since I have a small package with a use by date of today. I'm trying to use the cheese folio thing as a wrap but it hasn't been ideal. Plus a cottage cheese, a light and fit and half and half in my coffee.

exercise today is just 30 minute elliptical on the South Island of New Zealand while watching dr who.

my photo Friday is my new bike! I've been out for one ride, expect to get in another today or tomorrow. It needs a basket, doesn't it? I think it does. I'm pretty sure the last bike I had was one with a flowered basket, a banana seat and a bell...and no gears. I was about a mile from home on my first ride when I figured out how to change the gears...and about a mile past that when I figured out WHY to change the gears, lol.

Have a great Friday, and weekend!

NICE bike. In my area they say bikes have become like TP, you can't find them.

I haven't ridden a non-stationary bike since I was a teen, either. I know they say you can't forget, but I am clumsy enough that I would actually be nervous that I wouldn't be able to!

This is a also one of the drawbacks to being a city mouse--I would have to pack it into the car and drive somewhere to get to a spot that is safe enough to ride, and I don't see myself doing that.
