Whats on your (PHOTO) Friday Menu?

Morning everyone! Happy Friday! Damn, this was like the longest week ever. I don't have anything particularly fun planned for the weekend, but I am ready to have the break. Work has been stressful.
Here are the pics of my new outdoor office! It's still not done--waiting on the nice big umbrella, and I also want to get some nice big plant stands to go up against the house behind the couch, to brighten that up. But the stands I like are not in stock, so I have to get them shipped to the store.
And the sideboard is complete! I had to laugh when I saw what was on top--pretty typical for us--flowers, apples, wine, bread dough rising and 3 levels of cooked bacon.
QOTD: Are you a city mouse or a country mouse? I love cities! I love the people watching, art and culture. I don't mind the noise and traffic. But the older I get the more I also appreciate the quiet. I have been looking at lake houses up in Maine and hope I can get a summer house for us in the next few years.
BTW, Grim has been experimenting with sourdough starter, and he says today is the day! I's not on my menu, but I am sure I will have a slice. I love sourdough!
Love the new outdoor furniture! So pretty! A nice place to enjoy a morning cup of coffee or curl up with a good book.

Thanks! Yes! I love coffee outside in the morning summer air :)
Happy Fri-Yay everybody!
We had a lovely lunch with our friends yesterday. It was an hour each way, and I think that we stayed for four hours, so it turned out being a 6 hour lunch. Needless to say, yesterday was not a productive work day. But it was so nice to visit with people again. They made a delicious stuffed pork for lunch as well.
Today, we are having a virtual happy hour to celebrate one of my friend's retirement announcement. He will be retiring at the end of this month after 35 years with our firm. In a few months, out of our group of four couples, only two will still be working. I am the youngest of the group, but not sure that I will last the longest. Before that, I need to do some actual client work, lift and work out and do some other things, so a busy day until about 5:30.
Photo Friday - the
Peonies are in bloom.
QOTD: I am a country mouse, or a mountain mouse or an ocean mouse. 32 years of commuting into cities has made me appreciate the more peaceful environment. But there are things about cities that I love also.
Breakfast: Protein bar

Have a great day, all!

I love peonies. They only last a short time, but are so beautiful.

I had to go to the grocery store after work today and I had to buy myself some peonies. They are not as pretty as yours are (yet) but they will be soon!
