Good morning, everybody!
I want to congratulate Trish on her 5 year surgiversary today. You have done amazing and I am awed by your commitment to keeping at your goal weight and daily calorie limit. Also, you are always willing to provide useful advice to new people. Letting the struggling folks know that even strictures aren't the end of the world and that they will love their surgeries in a few weeks is such a comfort to the new people who are feeling sick. Here's to another 5 years of yogurt, Mid century modern furniture, Mah Jong and Bran Cereal!
I went to my first doctor's appointment, Post-COVID yesterday. It didn't seem like a huge deal, temperature scan, lines, etc. But it didn't add more than a minute to the process. I have to say that the doctor's office protocols were remarkably similar to the haircut.
QOTD: I told my boss (who is a close friend), four other close friends, My Mom and Sisters. Now, I will talk about it if asked, but I seldom am.
Breakfast: Protein bar
Lunch: Hot Dog
Snack: Nuts
Dinner: Hello Fresh
Have a great day, all!

Good morning. Still navigating the chronic pain path, with some days better than others. I'm seeing a pain doctor next week as my pcp can't manage this condition. So we'll see how that all goes. Thankfully my exercise seems to keep it looser as I tend to experience more pain on my off days. I've been able to eat a little more normally so the weight loss has finally slowed. I had everyone worried on that front.
QOTD - I told all my coworkers and friends/family. Even with that, I had several people ask me if I was dying from cancer.
Exercise 55 min on the Peloton
PWO 1/4 bar
Breakfast plain yogurt with berries, nuts and 1/2 cup whole grain cereal
Snack - Orange
L - Turkey with some salad
Snack - Apple
D - small slice pizza

Morning everyone! Hope everyone has a cool Wednesday! It's supposed to be in the 90's here today! First day for us being this hot. I agree this week feels very long. My stepchildren come home today from spending some time with their mom. Which means I will have a full house with all 6 children, so I might have to put painting on hold today.
QOTD: Who did you tell about your WLS surgery? In the beginning I only told my family. Although, now I will tell pretty much anyone because even though I had surgery it is still a struggle for me everyday. I want people to know that surgery is no easy way out, its just a tool to help you.
