Morning! Today is my crazy meeting day, ugh. I feel like I could really use a day off, but in reality, what would I do differently? I woke up in the night with a headache and had to get up and take some Tylenol. I really just need to get my hair cut. It's to the small of my back now when I straighten it and it's heavy when I put it all up on my head at night, but if I don't it gets caught in my armpits while I sleep

QOTD: I told everyone, once I was actually approved for the surgery by insurance. Before that, I only told those people close to me in case I wasn't actually going to have it done. Telling people I was going to have the surgery was so much harder than telling people I had the surgery. I got used to responding super happily "Oh I had WLS!" when they asked me about my weight loss, because it didn't give them room to tell me about how their Aunt's, Cousin's, Friend's, Sister who had WLS and gained it all back.

Ha that's funny about your hair. Mine isn't too long but it is so thick and desperately needs to be thinned out. I keep wondering if the extra 2lbs I can't shake are somehow related to the extra hair weight ;)

Good morning, happy Hump Day!

QOTD - at the time, my ex husband and I had RNY within a month of each other. Our friends and family knew. Fast forward to 11 years out, and I don't really talk about it to anyone. I eat pretty normal sized portions. I eat mostly vegan, and intermittent fast so people think I eat weird anyhow.

Breakfast - hot coffee, lots of it please! (fasting)

Lunch - I want whataburger! I order it with everything (all veggies) and then take the meat off, add my own vegan cheese and it's the best splurge ever! The dogs get the patty in their nightly dinner.

Snack - fruit smoothie

Dinner - Up in the air, who knows.

I hope you all have a great day!

I was meaning to tell you this for a while but I keep forgetting. My son naturally does IF. I would have freaked out if I hadn't known about it, thinking he is not getting enough food/vitamins. But especially with this SIP rules he doesn't get up till noon-1:00 pm. He's never hungry when he gets up and then he has dinner with us around 7:00. If he goes to work, they give him a late lunch around 3:00 and when he comes home he says he is not hungry. I'm amazed at how he does, but he says he feels better this way. I force him to take vitamins, but I don't fret about him eating only one, maybe one and a half meals.

In short, you are NOT eating weird. My son didn't know what IF was until I told him. He says he is just listening to his body.

My husband (naturally slender) has always eaten this way, we never knew it was similar to IF!

He doesn't eat breakfast, will usually eat a big lunch, smaller dinner, and that's it. I think it's just how some people are wired, and it makes more sense. He rarely if ever eats breakfast. He does sometimes ask for breakfast for dinner though, LOL!

I have noticed that naturally slender people do that. Or if they over eat at one meal they try to skip or eat less after that. Fat ppl, like me, punish ourselves for eating too much by eating more because we have ruined the day anyway! That was my MO before WLS.
