Weigh****chers - June 2020
Last June I was 10 pounds from my goal and quit Weigh****chers because I figured I could do that on my own. It never happened and I slowly gained back weight and on January 1 was 20 pounds above my goal.
I weighed today and am exactly 10 pounds from my goal. This time I don't intend to quit. I am going to stick to my program until I reach my goal again. I have been having a lot of indigestion and my doctor suggested a herbal product called FDGard. I am going to see how that works.
Our city had a peaceful demonstration last night with about 1,000 or more demonstrators. There was an 8:30 PM curfew last night. It was very quiet with no people or cars outside.
Real life begins where your comfort zone ends
I use the meetings to stay accountable (which are on Zoom right now in most places). Whatever works!

I've been going to in person WW meeting for 2 years now. I was 10 pounds above my goal and I've been at goal and on maintenance for over a year now. Meeting are on Zoom right now and I go to my Zoom meeting weekly and will start in person as soon as they offer it again. I track everything daily.
I know my personality and I will keep tracking on WW and attending meetings - otherwise I kinda let things slide and rationalize little bits of this and that. I want my clothes to fit comfortably and WW is working for me. My bariatric dietitians approve of me being on the WW plan and tell me they have many bariatric patients on WW. You can easily meet protein goals on WW and stay within you daily points. I'm doing the Purple plan.
Best wishes,
Penny
