Whats on your Tuesday Menu?

Morning everyone. Hope you all are doing well today. I tried to keep myself away from too much news yesterday, but there is still so much to take in... Really makes you nostalgic for Murder Hornets, huh? Ugh.
But in more exciting news, I got my new outdoor furniture delivered yesterday and Grim put it together in record time! I really like it, but I decided that it needs a few plant stands or something to dress up behind it, so I am going to head over to Home Depot today to get a few things to finish up the look. I should be ready to post photos on Friday!
I did well with eating a zero point day, but two things got in my way! 1.) I didn't realize that a lot of my fresh food went bad. I threw away a lot of fresh fruits and veggies and put in an Instacart order that is coming this morning 2.) We had a surprise visit to Grim's daughter last night and she gave me small bowl of Mac & Cheese. I didn't have much, but I am guessing it was still 9 points? Stayed below my point total for the day though :)
QOTD: Would you rather lose the ability to read or lose the ability to speak? Why? This is almost impossible for me, because I am very social and I LOVE to talk, but I also love reading everything! But I think I would rather read than speak, because I hope I would be able to find another way to communicate?? ...I bet Grim can't believe I chose this. I am a talker. Ha.
Good morning all! I so wanted to sleep a little longer this morning. It's always the same old cycle with me it seems.....I say I'm going to go to bed earlier, but then I don't because I'm not sleepy and then I wake up the next morning extra sleepy vowing to go to bed earlier. Ugh. My accountability was good yesterday. I stayed on track for the most part and am finally down one pound. Two more to go before I'm back on track!
QOTD: This is a tough one. My first instinct would be to choose the ability to read because at least I'd still be able to communicate. However, the more I think about it as long as I can read I could learn new ways to communicate. I've never been much of a talker anyway so I think I'd choose the ability to speak. Had to talk myself through that one! Haha

Good morning all! Miss Lily is I have our first walk of the day in and will do several more before bedtime. This morning we saw a yearling deer and a momma deer with two small babies. They have a healthy deer population here as each time we walk we seem to see at least one. Accountability was spot on food and stepwise yesterday and weight is 120.4. QOTD I'd rather lose the ability to speak. Not much of a talker anyway! Here's the food plan B 1/2 c steel cut oats with protein and peanut butter L 2 protein pancakes with sugar free syrup D 4 oz of whatever protein hubby cooks. Have a great day full of healthy choices and stay safe everyone!
Good morning, everybody!
Quick one for me today, as I have a doctor's appointment this morning.
Yesterday, my DD was bit by a scorpion. Poor kid. We, of course, were in a panic when we heard about it, but I guess that they don't require any medical treatment. She was in a lot of pain yesterday morning, but feeling better by the evening.
I got my hair cut yesterday. It seemed safe. One customer at a time, no indoor waiting, temperature screen outside before entering and both parties wore masks. Marilyn cut it once during the quarantine, but it was nice to get it cut short yesterday.
Breakfast: protein bar
Lunch: Tenderloin
Snack: nuts
Diner: probably leftover tenderloin
Have a great day, all!

So my WW points were ridiculously low yesterday. I ate zero point foods all day with my last being ahi tuna that DS left for me to cook. It was SO GOOD that I didn't weigh it and ate too much, thus finding the limit of my VSG. I haven't done that for at least 2 years and was so uncomfortable after dinner that I had to stay very still and keep belching to keep from throwing it up. So none of my usual snacks last night...
But before that I straightened DS' room while he is away for a couple of days so I can sew in there tomorrow. I owe SIL the slipcovers I promised and started a few years ago.
DD texted me last night because there was looting in Worcester near where she is staying for a couple of days while her new apartment flooring is being replaced. Scary times!
QOTD: I guess I'd have to pick retaining the ability to read as well (losing speech). I have always had a book going since I was about age 5 and I can't imagine life without reading (I assume we could still write?). I just realized as I typed this that DH lost all of this due to his form of dementia before he died. He couldn't read, write, speak or understand others without great difficulty for his last few years and not at all the last few months. It was so sad for someone whose communication skills were so strong prior to his diagnosis. He majored in English in college, then became a lawyer.
