What's on your Monday Menu?
Peppermint Patty?
I think there was only one other Elizabeth in my huge high school, but the name had a resurgence in the next generation. There are quite a few Elizabeth's around age 40 or so.

Elizabeth is one of those names that seems to come & go. It'd probably be considered a classic/timeless name - although I know there are times when it's really popular - and then it goes through a period when it's not that popular.
I thought of another trendy mid-century name - Sandy! We always had Sandys in our classes. You never hear that name anymore - except a high school friend of mine (named Sandy) has a new granddaughter, and the granddaughter's middle name is Sandra. Named after grandma, of course! Never thought I'd hear our names being used as middle names - so the kid could be named after its grandparent!

One of my colleagues named her baby Trisha a few years ago. So there is at least one toddler out there named Trisha!
Good Morning JB and Menuers,
Sorry your weekend was complicated by the world news. I myself do no social media except for needing to come and talk to you folks to keep me in check and knowing you understand what WLS life is like. My husband has some accounts on Facebook and Instagram, I think, but for me I indulge only in the local news and CBS this morning M-F when I am getting ready for work. So there was some protest and rioting in the city of Pittsburgh and the rioting was being done by people who had no right to even be protesting. It looks like the ones doing the riot part were privileged white kids with pent up energy because they have been quarantined for the last 3 months. Please someone beat these kids parents.
Besides all that I had a great weekend. It could have been a little warmer so I could get some pool time, but It was nice weather to run so I exercised. Pennsylvania is allowing gyms to open on Friday so I am anxiously awaiting an email from my gym to tell me what the new normal for the gym will be. I am actually taking Friday off this week to take DH to have a procedure done the rest of the day I may just hang at the gym. Yes I miss it that much.
We got together with family and Friends for our regular Sunday evening dinner and I made Spinach Chicken Casserole w/cream cheese and Mozzarella. Everybody loved it. I also made a barley dish to sub out the rice. It went over pretty well too. They are starting to get used to me cooking low carb. I also made a Poor man Ceviche using zucchini and summer squash. This is a go to summer dish for me it's light and very yummy. And of course I made a Salted Caramel cheesecake that I did not partake in but everybody else loved it.
QOTD: The Name Christine is associated with a Horror movie from the 80's about a Car named Christine. And Pop star Christina Aguilera but I can not think of anything else.

Good Morning!!! I just really, really need some NORMAL, inside my bubble, this morning...Outside, my bubble, is just too much, at this moment. in time...My nephew, and his small children were injured, in their car, during the Austin freeway crap, Saturday...cut by broken car windows...Hard to be objective, when a 4 year has glass, in his eyes...So, of course, I came HERE...
I will eat the same boring stuff I always eat...lol...so I won't bore you, with THAT...but coffee, FIRST, of course!!
Still having the Afib stuff, so no exercise, for sitting, and lifting legs and arms...In other words...NADA...But will have better news, soon !!!
I was born in 1957. I never ever knew another GINA, when I was a kid. There was Cindy, Patty, Terri, Kathy, Cathy...no GINA...I was named, after a movie star my grandfather and father, were hot for. No doubt they were hoping I would grow up, and look like her...Fat chance!!!
I give you...Gina Lollabrigida (ask your parents)
