What's on your Monday Menu?

Hello Friends! Wow this was a really rough weekend in America. I hope everyone stayed safe. I honestly have no words. I think I might need to take a social media break for my sanity.
Anyway, I had a lazy few days. I was glued to CNN for more than half of it and I spent yesterday eating my feelings. I am going to take the next few days to try to keep my points as low as possible, so that I can try to make up for this weekend's indiscretions. I haven't weighed myself yet this morning--I might give myself a few days to get back on track before I peek. I also need to get my butt off the couch to do some exercise. On top of feeling stressed, I also struggled really badly with allergies this weekend so I took a few days off from any significant exercise. Ugh! Back at it today. Luckily, I have a really quiet day at work, so I can take the time to exercise on the treadmill and outside.
QOTD: What connection does your name have in pop culture? Julia hasn't really been a big target of anything pop-culture--there is Julia Child and Julia Roberts, and the Beatles song, Julia. Oh and when I was a kid, Julia Sugarbaker was a big character (I loved her!)!... But I don't think hearing "Julia" conjures any one image for most people, like other names often do.
Morning. It was certainly a weekend filled with existential dread wasn't it? It hurts my heart intensely to see people I've known for my whole life using their platform to defend their whiteness instead of just shutting up and listening to POC for once.
QOTD: I have no idea. I literally pay no attention to anything pop culture and I'm not sure I've ever noticed anything beyond Erin Brockovich, lol.
My Food:
- Coffee w/ Cream x2
- Eggs, Sausage, Sweet Potato
- Turkey, Cheese, Cucumber
- Either Better Cheddars or Chicken - those are the two meats I have out. We'll do roasted Brussels with it.

Morning everyone. Rough weekend everywhere, I think. I don't think the alien overlords are coming to save us. I am also trying to limit social media consumption because my rage gets so high. I am aware that is yet another example of my privilege.
qotd - other than every 3rd girl being named some variation of a Jennifer in the 70s, I have nothing!
I've set a plan for myself to workout every day in June. I picked up my new bicycle yesterday, I have a mix of Pilates and elliptical sessions set up so I will work my plan. Today I did a short elliptical session and have a Pilates class this afternoon.
i has been putting off reorganizing my garage for like a year now, because it was going to be so much work. I did it yesterday and it took less than 2 hours and that included assembling shelving and breaking down boxes. So that may be a lesson to me if some kind, lol.
Breakfast - cottage cheese with 1 tbs peanut butter
lunch - 4 oz deli turkey breast, 1 oz cheese
dinner - scrambled egg with 1 tbs cheese
snack - frozen light and fit and of course, the half and half in my coffee
have a great Monday everyone!

Literally every girl in my class was named Julie, Jessica, Amy and Jennifer.
Congratulations on the organization. That is always a great thing to get done. But I have a question. How do you stick to 1 tablespoon of peanut butter? Once that lid is open I have trouble with self control.

I measure and immediately put it back in the pantry! Mixing it with the cottage cheese makes it seem like more (that's what I tell myself!)

My next organizing project is the medicine cabinet in our bedroom. Sounds small but DH has so much junk in there. Silver lining if all this SIP is all the organization going around.

Good morning, everybody!
After Friday's posts I am more convinced than ever, that I will never understand how women can look different in each picture. If you showed me Erin's picture from Friday and Erin's picture last fall with straighter hair plus Christina's picture from Friday and Christina's pictures with her hair down, I would say "wow, four lovely women." It's mystery to me. I am pretty sure that I look the same always. Except in the airport customs pictures - there I look at least 65.
In any case, everybody looked great in all of their iterations.
I didn't weigh in yesterday - need to have a good day today and get back at it tomorrow morning.
QOTD: I guess James Bond.
Breakfast: Protein Bar
Lunch: TBD
Snack: nuts
Dinner: Tenderloin
Have a great day, all!
