Good morning menu friends! No pics for me as my phone decided to erase everything on itself. I had to remember passwords for every site and all my pictures are gone too. Luckily some of them were stored here and those are fine. Miss Lily and I have our first long walk in and will do more later. Didn't get our third walk in yesterday due to rain but had lots of steps at work. Weight today is 120.4.

Here's the food plan B 1/2 c steel cut oats with protein and peanut butter L 3/4 c cauliflower parmesan soup D 4 oz. Of whatever protein hubby cooks. Today is our last day here and early tomorrow we head to Mitchell,Indiana. Mitchell's claim to fame is that Gus Grissom grew up there. We'll be working for three weeks at Camp Rivervale near there. Have a great day full of healthy choices and stay safe everyone!

Happy Fri-Yay all!

Today is kind of a milestone for me. I'm going to do my 50th Crossfit Hero workout at fully prescribed standards. The Hero workouts commemorate service members or First Responders, with ties to Crossfit, who died in the line of duty. There are 198, so I am hardly wrapping them up, but 50 feels like an accomplishment. Some of the remaining 148 workouts require quite a lot of strength or gymnastics movements that I can't do yet, and I know I'm not getting younger, but I'm going to keep plugging away.

Some of the other workouts, I have done scaled versions (less weights, modified exercises, etc.) but I don't count those towards the 50.

Our peonies are getting really close to blooming. I think that it will be this week and hopefully, I will have pictures next week.

Photo Friday - DS graduation

QOTD: JB hates this. When I was a kid, the older children in our neighborhood told us that Dragonflies were called "Thread and Needles" and that they would sew the mouths shut of younger children. I am still a little scared of them. And when I see people use them as a decorating element in their houses it freaks me out.

Breakfast: Protein bar

Lunch: Pizza (sorry Madison Rose)

Snack:nuts

Dinner: TBD

Have a great day, all!

Congratulations on the 50 workout that is incredible. Also I wish the best to DS. Just crazy he had to go through graduation at such a crazy time. Defiantly nothing he or you DD will ever forget.

This just popped up in my feed. Up until this morning, I would have thought it very cute. But after your post earlier this morning, and this being a mask - sewing your mouth, it is absolutely creepy.

O M G we were afraid of them too because of that. We called them sewing needles. There were thousands of blue colored ones at my grandparents camp on the lake. yikes, all grossed out, yet remembering I learned how to dive off the dock to avoid them!

I thought it was a New England thing, but JB hadn't heard it. Maybe older kids got nicer and stopped trying to scare the little ones!
