What's on your Wednesday Menu?
Good morning menu friends ! Miss Lily and I have our first long walk in and weather permitting will do more later. Accountability was spot on food and stepwise yesterday and weight is 120. QOTD no idea about my family history. Hubby knows a lot about his,in fact we traveled to Civil War sites where his great great grandfather fought and was captured. Here's the food plan B 1/2c steel cut oats with protein and peanut butter L unsure as we'll be out D 4 oz of grilled pork chop. Have a wonderful day full of healthy choices everyone and stay safe!
Good morning, Happy Wednesday!
QOTD - Not really. I am half white (English on mom's side), and half "Hispanic" (really hate that term). I don't focus on either, I simply enjoy what I can from both cultures. I am just as likely to make a proper English breakfast on the weekend (complete with beans on toast) or mushy peas, as I am to make breakfast tacos or enchiladas. I guess everything focuses on food.
Breakfast - hot coffee, water (fasting)
Lunch - kale salad, chickpea salad on whole grain bread, potato salad, mandarin, cheeze its, cottage cheese, dr pepper beans mixed with beyond burger, and vegan chao cheese (this is my feast of the day, and it's really small quantities, mostly a couple of bites each)
Snack - frozen fruit smoothie, (frozen frui****er, oat milk, chia seed, hemp seed protein)
Dinner - none, feasting at lunch, really trying to do transition to OMAD.

Christina - my daughter sent us a video of a snake slithering in oak trees above her while she was sitting out in your area. It kind of freaked me out!

Good morning, everybody!
I think that the bad project is about to start to get bad again tomorrow or so. But for today, I am enjoying being home in the beautiful weather.
Yesterday, I spent four hours at the car dealership getting my car serviced. I multitasked a little and did some work calls from the parking lot. Four hours doesn't sound fun, but I was glad that I did it on a Tuesday rather than over the weekend. I also got a big bill for a tire and battery that wasn't expected. No positive spin on that other than that maybe my tire pressure light will stop going off.
My older son got the job he applied for, so we are all excited for him. Even for a summer custodial job at a high school he has to go through the fingerprinting, criminal background check and mandated reporter requirements, so it will take two weeks before he can start. But it will be good for him to have something to do and get on a normal sleep schedule.
QOTD: 100% Boston Irish Catholic on all four sides. But Marilyn is a mix, so the kids are half mixed. We have copies of family trees that other family members have done, but I haven't looked too closely at them.
Breakfast: Protein Bar
Lunch: Hello Fresh
Snack: Nuts
Dinner: TBD
Have a great day, all!

That is great that the DS got a Job. It's always nice to have structure in you life. I have been working since the age of 12. I think it has made me a better person for it. Hope he enjoys what he is doing. I was fortunate that at the age of 16 I had a Lifeguarding job in the summers for 3 years at are local pool Greatest job ever. Wish that could have been a carrier. I idolize Mitch Buchannon.
