What's on your (PHOTO FRIDAY) Menu, RNYers?
Where are his parents from, in Italy?
Yup, I guess the strong Italian gene won with our kids. My husband is blonde with green eyes. When we take family pics we joke that we adopted him, because kids and I all look alike (although the kids have a little lighter skin than me) and he is the odd man out.

Sorrento - although his paternal grandmother's family was originally from Trento. We were supposed to be vacationing on the Amalfi Coast this month (has been rescheduled to October 2021) and were planning to spend some time in Sorrento while we were there. There are some Iaccarinos still there - I'm sure he's related to them! (although unlike me, he's never done any family history, so who knows. I bet there's a connection, though!)
Thank you! I think so too, but I'm just a wee bit bias!

We are using it as a sideboard for now, but we might end up having him make a few stools to pull up. We'll never eat there, so it would be more for keeping each other company while the other is cooking or cleaning :)
Love this pics of both kids! They look so happy and contended. Ready for whatever is next, I am sure!
Good morning
JB what a great cabinet. i did some woodworking some time ago and really appreciate quality projects like that. Grim does good work for sure.
Well I didn't have RH, it was too much blood pressure meds. I collapsed again the other night and that was the only option, yup I was 90/50 after I got back up. Sadly, now I think I bruised or cracked a rib. Damn it really keeps piling on. But I got the call that my status has changed at work to essential and 6/1 I go back to the office for two days a week - though what I hear is that it is just for key meetings called by our VPs and various work sessions. Either way - it will be nice to have somewhere else to go for a few hours a week. I'm looking forward to it.
Since I thought I had RH, I really had scrubbed the sugar and with that I'm now down to my lowest all time weight of 178.8 or about 15 down from my pandemic peak at the end of week two. My prior lowest weight was 182 prior to skin removal, so I'm likely pretty close to that or lower. So I'm just a few pounds away from the stretch goal.
QOTD - I'm more impressed than worried at store stocking, but some stuff is pretty thin and limited. Meats and such are moderate to low. I'll find out today or tomorrow as I'd like to pick up 4 steaks to grill this weekend and maybe a couple brats. Hopefully they'll have something. I remember after the first couple weeks laughing that the main things picked over were candy, ice cream, pasta and frozen pizza (of course besides all the paper products).
I'll workout later on the elliptical, but I was not in much pain at 5am, so I went back to sleep for a couple of hours. I'm glad I did.
B 2/3 cup oatmeal, nut butter, berries and 1/3 banana
L Veg stir fry and turkey small portion, apple or mandarins
S Apple or mandarins (depending what I eat a lunch)
D I bought a Nourish Bowl, so I will likely make that and find a protein somewhere in freezer (I have some brisket I've wanted to use)
HW 510 / SW 424/ GW 175 (stretch goal to get 10 under) / CW 160 (I'm near the charts ideal weight - wonder if I can stay here)

PS: L/R arm skin removal; belt panniculectomy - April, 2019
QOTD- The store I go to is usually out of flour and sugar, and most paper products. But I got my TP at Costco so I'm good for now. Everyone must be stress baking, that's the only explanation I have.
My yard debris bin was full so I got some 30 gallon paper bags and filled 3 of them and actually made it to the curb before the pickup time. My back payed the price and is still a little sore. Now I'm just waiting for my roommate to till the garden, I could do it but it's easier for him than me. He's 6'6" and I'm not. It's just a Mantis tiller so it's not heavy but you need some muscles to control it, and mine are still screaming from all the weeding.
I'm thinking of getting a motion activated sprinkler to deal with the pesky squirrels. They are now taking the green strawberries. I don't know, the guy that lived in the house before me fed them. That's why I think there are so many, and they use my roof and fence for a super highway. The clump, clump, clump of them galloping across my roof is something I'm used to by now. It's amazing how much noise a squirrel can make on your roof. I wonder if they've been taking tap lessons?
I have a french door refrigerator with the freezer on the bottom. Something was blocking the freezer and it's been icing up and making a mess. Last night my roommate pulled the top drawer, it involved way more than I would have thought. Then we had to melt the accumulated ice about a 1/2" on the bottom and put the drawer back in. We lost a few things, nothing worth worrying about. But I was so frustrated with my roommate, he spent over an hour sitting in his truck talking on the phone to his latest attempt at finding a girlfriend instead of putting the drawer back in, meanwhile things were thawing out... OK I'm done complaining. At least he was here to fix it.
I'm working on Monday since if I don't I won't get paid. I'm so ready to retire.
Our county is supposed to apply to reopen today, which means it will be June 1. With all the traffic it feels like it's already happened. Since we have an unemployment rate over 20% I'm not sure where everyone is going. Most of the state has opened back up so the coast is open, but of course they are saying they don't want outsiders to visit. All of the beaches in Oregon are publicly owned, so I say if I want to go, too bad. I just want to walk on the beach alone, not congregating with a bunch of people. I avoid holiday weekends as there are too many people and the traffic is bad. They are opening all of the accommodations at 100% but not until after the holiday weekend. I still think there are idiots out there that will swarm and not socially distance themselves, but it won't be me.
Have a great Friday everyone!

Did you see that Brian May of Queen tore his bum muscles in overenthusiastic gardening and had to be hospitalized? I think its the most English story of all time.
