Happy FRI-YAAAAAY everyone! I am so ready for this 3 day weekend! Today is supposed to get to 81 degrees and sunny! We have had the coldest stretch I can ever remember, and I have been dying for a nice warm day to enjoy. All of my coworkers have the day off and I am all caught up on my outstanding work, so I hope it will be a really quiet day and I can enjoy the weather.

Actually, we got confirmation that we won't have to go back to the office this summer (yay!), so I decided to invest in some nice patio furniture for the back yard. I am getting an outdoor sectional sofa, coffee table, outdoor rug, and big umbrella. I hope it will be a nice outdoor work space for me and a nice relaxing space for me & Grim to enjoy on weekends, too :)

Speaking of upgrades, here is a pic of the beautiful piece of furniture that Grim designed and built in the last few weeks for our kitchen. It's not quite done (still needs the last 3 small drawers), but I wanted to share now. Isn't it GORGEOUS!?

And the flowers are starting to bloom in the backyard. This will make a gorgeous backdrop for my new workspace, right?

BTW, I LOVED LOVED LOVED reading everyone's reviews yesterday. I didn't get a chance to respond to them all but they were so great!

Accountability: Better!

QOTD: What are grocery stores looking like near you these days? Are they still out of anything? We are seeing TP coming back in limited capacity, fresh meat is limited, frozen processed meat (like chicken nuggets) are almost completely gone, and there is absolutely no flour or yeast, anywhere!

I have a wine & cheese date over zoom tonight!

Good morning everyone. JB and Grim...wow! What talent and how exciting for the new outdoor furniture!

i have to go this morning to get a wee bit of lab work done to see if I do indeed have a uti. I'm almost 100% certain I have something going on. We'll see I guess. I'm not feeling the greatest and went over my calories yesterday...today will be better.

my pics are mostly of the cats but you will also see the new bed cover I got...it matches with Opal...lol

JB,that is a gorgeous cabinet! Tell Grim he does great work. Miss Lily and I have our first long walk in and will do 2 more later today. Accountability was perfect yesterday both food and stepwise and weight is 120 even. Yesterday was spent varnishing slats for bunk beds that will be going to a nearby nondenominational church camp. About 200 slats to be precise. Pic will follow. I have a few more to finish up today and I'll stack the dry ones onto a pallet to go out Tuesday. Hubby varnished the other parts. He had all the beds put together til camp staff measured and realized they couldn't fit through the door assembled. Oops! QOTDfresh meat, frozen pizzas and pre made frozen meals and ice cream are in short supply around here.

Here's the food plan B 1/2c steel cut oats with protein and peanut butter L 2 dark chocolate protein pancakes with sugar free syrup D 4oz of whatever protein hubby cooks. Have a great day full of smart choices and stay safe everyone!

I LOVE that kitchen buffet! I envy you having Grim to make such pieces (though not the baking as I would regain all my weight). You have such a beautiful yard so you should enjoy it.

The beaches open here tomorrow. They have blocked off 50% of the parking spaces. I will wait until a weekday (and a warm day) to go but will likely drive or walk by to see how full they are. So weird to have it be Memorial Day weekend with no parades or cookouts!

My picture is of the windows in the sunroom that I look out of every morning while I have my coffee (I just took it now). The shower sign is there because if you look down and to the right at that window you can see into the top of the outdoor shower. Which reminds me maybe I will open that up today?

QOTD: My DS tells me that meat was harder to find before we got back from Florida than it had been for us. It sounded like the paper products were at the same point - available but limited selection. I have heard the same about yeast and flour but I don't need them anyway. I can't go to the food store myself for another 6 days when my travel self-quarantine ends, so I will find out then. Luckily DS fully stocked the refrigerator and freezer before I got home last week.

TSS: 4 years, 2 months

B: Coffee! WW zero point banana/egg pancake

L: Sliced turkey and laughing cow cheese

D: Turkey bolognese over zoodles

S: cauliflower fried rice or yogurt with strawberry compote, blueberry lemon yogurt pie and/or WW one point blueberry muffin
