Yes, I know I have a VSG and not an RNY, but I figured I would start us out. Hopefully JB is enjoying the gorgeous weather in Massachusetts. It was 70-80 yesterday (depending on location) and looks like more of the same today. I do have to say that when I have returned from Florida in mid-May the last few years I have really enjoyed the beauty of New England. Florida may have lots of great sun and warmth but just doesn't have the all around natural beauty we have here.

QOTD: What do you buy way more of than most people? Well, I definitely buy tons of clothes, though I'm sure some people buy more. I am limited by closet space (and money). I also buy a LOT of coffee and coffee creamer (sugar free but sweetened). I bet many of you are the same as we seem to be a big coffee drinking group.

TSS: 4 years, 1.5 month

My menu is a repeat of yesterday which I was very satisfied by:

B: Coffee! WW zero point banana/egg pancake

L: Sliced turkey and laughing cow cheese

D: Turkey bolognese over zoodles

S: bean salad or yogurt with strawberry compote, blueberry lemon yogurt pie and/or WW one point blueberry muffin

Hi Liz looks like we posted at the same time but I deleted mine.
qotd: perfumes, clothes, shoes, coffee, baking and spice things, pampered chef stone wear bakers (they are just so good), jamberry nail wraps, vintage clothes (separate category).

so my stomach has been a wonky mess the last 4 nights in a row? I think I got backed up with tremendous gas that could clear a room. I thought it was dairy related with the yogurt pies etc but I thought yogurt had less lactose?i don't know but I'm frustrated. anyone else have issues like this? Also thought to try not eating after 7 because around 2 am things start churning in my belly...

food plan today- going to take it easy food wise - coffee water

b: eggs or a shake or something

s:

l: maybe something takeout like grilled chicken veggies

d: unknown

s: unknown

Sometimes I get like that then it resolves. I can never figure out the cause. I hope you feel better soon!

Good Saturday morning friends.

my appointment yesterday went well...I guess. He wants me to do what I know I needed to do and you all know I needed to do. Starting today I?m cutting back to 800 calories a day. I was in la la land I guess. Without being able to exercise I knew it was what I needed but honestly...I didn?t care. We had a nice long talk about everything going on with my back and mental health. Today I?m going to go get some groceries that are low calorie. Low fat string cheese, nonfat plain Greek yogurt and some cottage cheese. He also said in two months if my acid stuff isn?t better they?ll want to do an egd. He really wanted to do one soon but yesterday alone we had nearly 800 new cases of Covid reported in our city(meat packing plant). He gave me a prescription for omreprozal(sp?) so we?ll see. Also have to get bloodwork done Monday.

qotd:jump rings! I have so much! I just bought more for a special necklace for myself.

b:oatmeal with half & half, cold brew coffee watered down with almond milk

l:PP shake

s:1 string cheese spearmint candy

d:ended up being a pp shake as the turkey patties made me sick...about 1/2 oz ground turkey breast

s:small bit of crispy dried apples - 35 calories

all together 734 calories

You can do this Melody! Sometimes we just need a shake from someone external to get us back on track!

Another pretty day here in Illinois and Miss Lily and I have our first long walk in. We'll do a couple more later too. We got 2 of our 3 walks in yesterday even with the rain so that was good. Accountability was spot on food and stepwise with work included and weight is 120.2. QOTD coffee and creamer and oatmeal and peanut butter. Those are definitely my staples. Here's the food plan B 1/2c steel cut oats with protein and peanut butter (surprise!) L 3/4 c loaded baked potato soup D 4 oz onion burger with cheese and no bun. Have a fun Saturday full of smart choices and stay safe everyone!
