The picture of all the green just reeks of Spring. It's so vibrant you can almost smell it.

Good Friday morning all! Super quick post as I have a busy day ahead of me. Yesterday was quite stressful and today is probably going to be even more so. Two of my coworkers are off today as well as my supervisor so yesterday I was being prepped for all my extra assignments today that I'll have to take on. So please pray for me as I already have a headache and the day hasn't even started yet! Accountability was pretty good aside from getting into the popcorn bag last night. I think it was stress eating and worrying about today. If I can just get through today and Monday then I'll be off for the next 9 days! Can't come soon enough! I need to find something new to watch this weekend. I finished Dead to Me on Netflix last night.....was not expecting that twist at the end! Bummed it's over though.

QOTD: I've been told I don't have an accent, but I notice a slight twang that comes out sometimes. My mom has that typical southern accent and my dad has a really strong Cajun accent....people ask all the time if he's from Louisiana, but he's not which is so weird. We moved when I was 11 to a place where there were people from all over. So I tried to hide that little twang that I had to fit in. Two of my best friends were Irish and German and I so loved their accents!

hi all- feeling on the chunk choice. I think all the fibrous foods finally got to me last night- was having gastric issues all night. I think it was just too much but needed the fiber. I'm also feeling more 'soft' because I haven't been weight training which means my clothes fit a bit different and I'm not liking it.

I think I will start back my yoga subscription and running like I was before. technically the gyms are open here I'm just very hesitant to go at this time.

food plan today

B: protein pancakes

L: either last of the soybean pasta or the wheat matzo soup or a shake - not feeling awesome stomach wise

D: one of those above or the last of the chicken salad salad

s: not sure I'm to that point where I'm afraid to eat anything since apparently it makes me have gas which nearly kills everyone around me.

QOTD: well- growing up in Alabama, south GA then north GA. yes I did have one until college. Since I studied opera and classical music, it was beaten out of me. so now I don't have an accent. my DH does.

Good morning, Happy Friday!

QOTD - When I used to drink, my Texas accent would get stronger and louder. At this point, I don't believe I have an accent as I've never been told I have. However, interesting note, I do voices. I have ever since I was a kid.

Breakfast - lots of hot tea, hot coffee and topo chico (still fasting) and have to leave to vet office with two puppers this morning.

Lunch - kale salad, chickpea salad and crackers

Snack - fruit smoothie, frui****er, oat milk, hemp seed protein, chia seed

Dinner - pasta, beyond burger, kale salad

I hope you all have a great day!

*edited to add a photo of my baby boy Scout. He went to the vet today, and the vet told him he was VERY handsome.

You're not wrong! I am a very biased mama, but, he truly is such a proud boy. He holds his head up high. He was dumped, and when we got him, his ears had been chewed and torn but we think he's overcome his "ruff" beginning.

Morning all. I'm off and have time get back to some things I enjoy- like this! I'm coming out of this a hunk- I am determined! I haven't missed a workout, a and my tracking and eating has been in track since the end of April. I've lost 6# from my scary high weight. Still chipping away, but feel Good about my efforts.

qotd: I grew up on Long Island, but do not have a Long Island accent. When I go back there and hear folks, I wonder how I escaped without one, that's a strong accent. But living here in Philly people definitely say I say some words like a NY'er (ie- chocolate). Otherwise most say I sound like in from no where.

menu- No idea.

my photos today are are me and my brother who passed from Covid on Wednesday. the other pic is of my nails, compliments of a $7 gel-like peel and stick kit I got at Target. Lasts for a full two weeks, easy to apply and remove.
