What's on your Thursday Menu, RNYers?

Good Morning everyone! Happy Thursday!
I am seriously considering taking the day off today. I have ZERO meetings, which feels like some sort of miracle that should be celebrated :) Plus the weather is supposed to be really nice today, but then it is going to get into a nasty pattern of rain for a week (sorry, Liz...welcome home!). Yeah! I think I am going to do it!
Accountability: Good. Stayed on plan all day and only added in a tiny slice of lemon loaf (but I had built in plenty of points for it). I did the Pyramid walk on the elliptical, and a run along the ocean in Portugal. Ahh, I love my little travel excursions--it really incentives me to exercise.
QOTD: What is a movie/tv adaptation of a book that you really loved? I have been watching Little Fires Everywhere and I think they are doing an excellent job with it. I will reserve full judgement 'til I get to the end, but I loved the book and I think the show is great so far. A few others are: 1.) the most recent (Greta Gerwig) adaptation of Little Women, 2.) The Princess Bride (the book is even better than the movie, if you haven't read it!) and of course, 3.) To Kill a Mockingbird (my first date with Grim!).
Oh I love Little Women, The Princess Bride and To Kill a Mockingbird! Read all of those books and watched the films in school. One of my classmates loves To Kill a Mockingbird so much that she named her daughter Scout.

Good morning all! Today can't be over soon enough! I just don't feel like working at all. I'm just ready to watch more of my show that I've really gotten addicted to on Netflix. I started watching Dead To Me last weekend and I'm about halfway through with season 2. Can't wait to continue watching it, but at the same time I'm sad for it to end! Then I'll have to find something new to watch. My accountability was pretty good yesterday. I put a halt to the late night snacking and stayed within my calorie range. Hopefully today will be much of the same.
QOTD: aside from the ones JB already mentioned, I really enjoyed Anne With An E! It's an adaptation of the Anne of Green Gables series which I read in school. Don't know if I liked the books or the films better!

I haven't seen the Anne with an E series yet. I loved the books so much and I was worried I would be disappointed, but I have heard great things from other people, too, so I will have to put it on my list.
We just finished S2 of Dead to Me. So good!
Oh you definitely won't be disappointed!! It's so good and I'm so sad it ended! Can't wait to finish Dead To Me!

Yes yes yes, they did a good job with The Giver! Did you know I met Lois Lowry once--- in her living room?? I was interviewing local Jewish authors and she invited me to her home. Such a cool an unassuming lady! I should have added her to my "famous people I have met" Q from the other day, but I forgot about her.
