Good morning! Happy Hump Day!

Ah, I am feeling so much better! I vacuumed the crap out of the sofa and kept the sliding door open all day, and I was like a new person. Yay! I had a busy and productive day at work which was nice, too. I really hate days when I am bored.

Accountability: ICYMI on FB, Grim had 25lbs of flour delivered from a mill.... and the baking began. I only had a tiny slice of the delicious lemon loaf. I deserve a medal. It was incredible.

I found the Pyramids walk on iFit (thanks for the recommendation!) so I am trying that this afternoon, and this morning I will continue my running series in Portugal.

QOTD: if money and space was no object, what would you like to collect? Oh I have so many things I'd love to have--mostly things related to color and design. Here are just a few...

  1. Art nouveau paintings
  2. Fancy women's 1920s-50s hats
  3. Vintage kitchen tins
  4. Old travel tags

Totally put this post on Tuesday! I had no idea what day of the week it actually was!

Morning! We had new mulch put in our flower beds this weekend and it's so pretty! Today we're meeting with someone to talk about a quote for a patio. I just started a class that will be a 15 week long course in 12 days. It's sucking the life out of me, I swear! I don't think I'll do this again, but I think I'll manage through this one. For most of my courses I pick and choose the assignments I complete based on the impact they will have to my grade. Where in the past I was striving for a 4.0, now I'm striving to get through this degree. I have 15 years of professional experience to back it up, I just need the stupid piece of paper and I'm so close! But, this course is self-paced and sequential. You can't unlock one assignment until you complete the one before it.

QOTD Tuesday: Often people take my quietness and social awkwardness to mean I don't like them, or that I'm not enjoying/having fun in a situation. I like business interactions because everyone's role is well defined and people know when to talk and who should be the authority on a subject. I tend to be completely lost with (new) social interactions. I do best when I meet people 1:1 rather than in groups.

QOTD Wednesday: I have an intense fear of clutter, so the idea of collecting anything makes me squeamish. I honestly can't think of anything! There are a lot of things I can think of doing with unlimited funds (like buying a beach house, or traveling around the world) but nothing I want to collect.

My Food:

  • Coffee w/ Cream x2
  • Eggs, Sausage, Sweet Potato
  • Turkey Wrap and Strawberries
  • Burger and Veggies

Hi, I just wanted to encourage you in your coursework! I did my entire second degree at an accelerated pace, though yours seems a little more intense! I too was working full time then and there was this sweet older clerk that I worked with and she always had the best bits of wisdom to share with me. The two things she told me that really pushed me through were "at the end of this, no where on that silly paper will it say she did this faster" and "getting a C means you have acquired the knowledge of an average human being and there is nothing wrong with that!" (i was always worried about my GPA too!) One more nugget from her was "I have traveled all over this world and never have i ever met one single person who worry did anything good for!" i worked with her 15 years ago and have not seen her since, she obviously left an lasting impression on my life. Best of luck to you!

Good morning everyone! Went to bed later than usual last night and now I'm paying for it. Would be nice if I could get a nap in today, but I know that probably isn't likely. My accountability was pretty good yesterday. At least I had some self control when it came to the late night snacking. Wish I could overcome my food addiction though. It's a frustrating and exhausting vicious cycle!

QOTD: This is a tough one as I feel there is so much that I can't think of at the moment because my brain is still half asleep. I'd probably say purses and animals though. I am obsessed with purses and I love animals. I'd adopt them all if I could!

Me Too. Once cried in Tajuana cause I saw and octagon purse I wanted and only had $35 on me and they wanted $50 after I got it down from $75. But I cried enough and they gave it to me. Was very impractical but it's a great show piece.

Great news that you seem to have been able to reduce the allergens floating around. But lemon loaf! That could be torture to keep away from!

Today is our last day in Florida - packing and moving the lanai furniture to the garage is the order of the day. And it is youngest DD's birthday. I haven't seen her since she visited in March so I can't wait to celebrate her birthday in a couple of weeks after I finish quarantine.

QOTD: This is a tough one. Possibly some artwork or fine old furniture. And of course high-end shoes and clothing (is that collecting?). I would have to have a gorgeous home with large windows, a view of water, and an enormous closet to house everything. Could I collect homes in wonderful places with staff to keep them going???

TSS: 4 years, 1.5 month

B: Coffee! WW zero point banana/egg pancake and blueberry compote

L: Sliced Ever Roast chicken and laughing cow cheese

I like your way of thinking. Large house with large windows, view of the water, AND the staff for upkeep.
