Wow! Thank goodness your DH is okay, but how do you not get scared about him surfing in the future?

I have always been scared of him and DS surfing. But according to him there is more probability of them getting hit by a bus than being eaten by a shark.
A good friend of his actually was bitten by a shark and has the scars to show it, but the guy keeps going out in the water. His surf board is at our local surf museum with all the teeth marks on it. I guess surfing is a passion/love that doesn't go away because of the sharks. I don't understand it but have to live with it.

qotd - BITE Beauty used to make a cinnamon lip oil that I loved and bare minerals used to make eye shadow tube. I look for both of those periodically (or reasonable replacements) but no joy.
ive got my work out in already today so yay me, and my mom says she has a list of groceries she needs so I will probably do that this afternoon. There were way too many people out and about over the weekend, based on what I saw on social media -- i has thought about going to the garden store for social distant shopping but there were what looked like 100+ people in line. Fortunately there looked to be lots of space for 6 feet between people in the line!
my Pilates studio is opening on Wednesday -- only 4 people in class and you can only take 4 classes a month or only one on one classes and both you and the instructor have to mask and you have to use your own straps. I'm not sure about exercising in the mask but going to give it a try so waiting for them to call me back.

Good morning from May Gray San Diego! Fairly successful weekend and a nice Mother's day here. Hope the same for all of you! Quick update post to keep myself accountable and then back to the trenches.
