Hello menu friends!
JB, sorry to hear GERD is an issue still. It's no fun! Glad you had a good weekend though!
my weekend went ok. Food wasn't all that great and I may of had a brownie...with frosting. That was yesterday and today is a new day and week. Fortunately my weight has stayed the same. I'm seriously tired. So tired I could almost sleep. Lol.
no real plans for today I think. We may run to sams but I'm not certain we will. I'm in high pain mode as per the usual. I'm really tired of it and saying it. The muscle relaxer is helping but makes my mind kind of swimmy.
I hope we all have a good week ahead.
qotd:little Debbie had these angel food cakes with raspberry stuff inside. That's the only thing I can think of that I can remember the name lol
breakfast:oatmeal & ff half & half
s:PP shake
l:kodiak protein flapjacks & sugar free syrup maybe a small turkey sausage stick
s:100 calorie popcorn bag, ostrim beef & elk teriyaki sausage

We like to pretend that Little Debbie is Grim's ex, and we say mean things about what a evil sabotaging ***** she is :) ...but she makes a mean Oatmeal Creme Pie...
Mornin' All!
I have to go over to my friend's in a few minutes (the one who had her hip replaced on Friday) to help her bathe, dress, and get her compression stockings on. She said she's mostly OK on her own (surprising!), so I may just have be there for a couple of hours a day. So it may just end up being a morning routine for the next couple of weeks. I have online Mah Jongg this afternoon - I guess I can just take my laptop with me this morning just in case I need to be there longer than expected.
accountability was OK yesterday but could have been better. My calories were OK for maintenance, but not for weight loss. I've had too many days like this, so I need to really clamp down - esp since I'm not exercising as much (still walking most days, but no intense things like I typically did at the gym).
QOTD: I miss finding leggings in jillions of colors. At the stores (back when we could go to stores..) they were mostly black, gray, and navy. What's up with that? I know you can order them online in lots of colors, but they always have such mixed reviews that I'm afraid to order. At least I got a bunch in different colors when I was in India (women there usually wear them under dresses and tunics - or at least in northern India (saris are more typical in southern India)). I also freaked out when Kirkland Mixed Nut Butter disappeared from my Costco and I started reading it was recalled - but then it said online that it's available at the Costco on the other side of town. Whew. I don't eat it very often, but I love it. And it's about half the price of Nuttzo.
not really sure about this menu today since I"m not sure how long I'll be at my friend's, but here goes:
TSS: 4y11m
B: coconut Greek yogurt with diced mango, coffee with half & half
MS: protein shake
L: 2 Costco chicken skewers with homemade peanut sauce
AS: L&F yogurt with raspberries. Or almond yogurt pie with strawberry compote.
D: Asian veggie burger on a "sandwich skinny"
have a great day, all!
went over to the Costco on the other side of town while my friend was napping (she lives kinda near there). Ta da! They had Kirkland Mixed Nut Butter, so I bought two jars. I don't know what I was thinking - it takes me about six months to go through ONE jar, and I still have half an opened jar in my fridge. At least it shouldn't go rancid as long as I don't open it (I suppose it eventually will, even if sealed - but probably not for awhile...)
Good Morning! JB- so glad you had a nice and that you are feeling better. I had a nice relaxing weekend and Mother's Day. I have some catch up from taking some time off.
Accountability: On plan.
QOTD: Some different scents from Bath and body (can't think of the name right now) is what comes to mind first.
TSS: 5 years 9 months
B: SF latte, eggbeaters and turkey sausage links
L: Albacore lettuce wraps and baby carrots
S: Chaffle and carbmaster yogurt
D: BBQ steak, green beans, toasted low carb flatbread, sliced fruit, and 2 squares dark
ES: Low carb pita with cream cheese and SF jam, Homemade Greek yogurt with SF syrup and cup fiber cereal
E: A blend of elliptical and treadmill (slogging/walking) totaling about 2 hours
V/W: On track
Totals: Cals: 1487 Protein:155 Carbs:117 Fat:53
Have a great one!
