What's on your Thursday Menu, RNYers?

Hiya kids, how's everyone doing? Yesterday was just rough all around. I never really got out of my funk and ultimately found myself getting frustrated with everyone. I need to pull myself out of it today. At least today is a little different--I have a few unusual meetings and trainings so hopefully some new things will help shake it up.
Accountability: Did I even have surgery? Are we sure? Because I really didn't act like it, yesterday. Hot tip--you can't eat your way out of your feelings, no matter how much you try.
QOTD: What is something that smells better than it tastes like to you? I have a few. I like the smell of fake grape flavor but I don't like the taste. I also used to live near this Italian restaurant that always smelled amazing but the few times I went, it never tasted good at all. Not sure what herbs they used, but...yuck. Last, it might be obvious, but I used to try to sneak bites of Baker's Chocolate when my mom was cooking... how could something that smells so amazing taste so terrible!? #burned
Tomorrow--let's see everyone's EYES! Show us your masked faces for Photo Friday!
Morning! What a failed night of sleep. 3am - Cat puke, 3:15am - that stupid smoke alarm started chirping (we bought batteries but the ceilings are 10ft and we haven't gotten around to changing it), 4:22am - cat knocks a glass off the table and it shatters. We got up for the day at that point.
QOTD: I used to stay that about coffee. I've always loved the way it smelled, but I never drank it until post surgery. I can't think of anything else at the moment, but I can say that I hate the smell of burnt popcorn but I love the taste! lol.
My Food:
- Coffee w/ Cream (I'm not even putting a number here because it might be more than normal)
- Eggs, Cheese, Avocado - maybe in a wrap like a burrito
- Turkey, Cheese, Pickles, Olives
- Grilled Cheese & Soup (11 year old's turn to cook). I may figure out how to edit this to make it less carby, but I haven't figured out the best option without offending her just yet.

Good morning everyone! I'm only working half a day today since I have an eye doctors appointment this afternoon. So that means I actually have to put real clothes on....ugh! My accountability was pretty decent yesterday. I did get the craving for something sweet, but had a L&F yogurt and an apple when it hit which helped.
QOTD: I'll have to say coffee. Don't get me wrong, I'm a huge coffee lover! For some reason it just never tastes as good as it smells. At least not to me.
B: premier shake
B2: coffee w/Splenda X 2
L: probably grab a protein bar to go since my dr. Appt. is around my usual lunch time.
D: 4 oz baked chicken breast and broccoli
S: L&F yogurt and a banana
Surgery: RNY on 1/23/19
Good morning menu friends! Miss Lily and I have our first long walk in this morning and will do two more at some point in. Accountability was spot on food and stepwise yesterday and weight is 120.4. QOTD flavored coffee. It always smells so good in the bag but often the actual taste is not as good as anticipated. The tastes are not as strong as what they smell like they should be. I still drink it though because, well,it's coffee. Here's the food plan B 1/2c steel cut oats with protein and peanut butter L 3/4 c beef and mushroom soup D 4 oz baked fish. I need to focus on drinks as I didn't get enough. Will do better today. Have a wonderful day full of smart choices and stay safe everyone!
My pregnant niece says that she may not tell her co-workers and see how many of them just think she gained quarantine weight (she is just at 14 weeks so is just now starting to show the real pregnancy gain). She has a quirky sense of humor.
On another note, the restaurant on Cape Cod where DS was the Executive Chef has gone out of business. It is going to be tough for him to find employment at the end of this as I am sure many others have or will go under. And his place was a major place for weddings, so a lot of people are going to have to look for new venues even if they were booked out way in the future.
Today I think we will go to the beach as next week will be showery until we leave. Speaking of leaving, I need to ship a box (too much online shopping). Has anyone used those compression bags for regular clothing? Does everything end up super wrinkled? Of course it is my shoes that take the most weight and bulk...
QOTD: It used to be coffee, but now I love it. And I remember the first time I smelled pizza I thought it smelled gross - I got over that quickly. Nothing else I can think of other than the unsweetened chocolate you mentioned.
TSS: 4 years, 1 month
B: Coffee! WW zero point pancake
L: Sliced Ever Roast chicken and laughing cow cheese
D: Sushi I think from a local restaurant. Likely wine.

When I travel for work I roll my clothes. LOL. Seems to work well and no issues with wrinkles.

I also roll, but I'm wondering if I can get more in my box if I roll AND compress.
