Craig Conroy is from the Potsdam area, right? My Bro played against him in HS. I believe he is an Assistant GM in Calgary.

He's actually from Potsdam. I believe those that his wife's family is from Norfolk. If I'm remembering correctly it was her family that owned the restaurant we went to weekly. He played hockey at the University I worked for when I lived up there. He's 12 years older than me, so it makes sense that I remember him and his wife. Looks like he played professionally from 1994-2011. I think I would have remembered him the mid-late 90's.

Oh Man I forgot I have met Many of the sports legends in Pittsburgh. I drank at a bar with Mario Lemieux (He had Sambuca w/3 coffee beans) and his cohorts. We were watching the Canadian Cup I think in 84. Only 1 bar had cable that broadcasted the game so the whole team was there. Paul Coffee Ron Duguay Craig Simpson I can go on an go on and on of what Pittsburgh Penguins that I have met. But I live in a town that Peri Como and Bobby Vinton are from. Mom went on a date with Bobby Vinton at one time. And I have also me Art Rooney Sr. at the Meadows race track. ( he owned a box and my God father was the usher for his booth.) And I met Franco Harris. He was the Speaker at my brothers Italian Men's organization and he spoke at the awards banquet when they give away 15 scholarships to 15 students of Italian decent in our county. I'm sure there are many more just don't have time to think right now.

Anne Burrell is also a big time hockey fan. I went to a Rngers game at MSG and she was on screen there.

I went to High School with Hal Gill which often impresses people, but I didn't even know he became famous until a few years ago, haha! I'm not a hockey person at all...

Hal Gill played a couple years for Montreal, I always thought he seemed to be a nice guy, he was very well liked in Montreal.

I forgot that I met Chris Wagner (Bruins) last summer at a local winery. He and his parents sat with us. Nice young man and very handsome. He drove off in his very expensive BMW!

As a Ducks fan, I was really sad to see Wags go!!! He's a great player! We've met him too! Really nice guy!

Good morning menu friends! Miss Lily and I took a nice long last walk here at Camp Tanako this morning. We did get a bit wet at the end but neither of us melt so it was good. Accountability was spot on food and stepwise yesterday and weight is 120.4 today. When hubby gets up shortly we'll do final backup and close up the slides to head back to Illinois. We have to stop at home for a minute to pick up meds and some cooler clothes and drive up to the distribution center near Springfield. Gonna be a long day with 8.hours of driving. I'll probably knit to keep from going stir crazy! QOTD only one,Jimmy Carter. He did a speech at my son's school. I met him and shook his hand afterwards. We need a good man like that for president again. Ok I won't get started. Here's the food plan B 1/2c steel cut oats with protein and peanut butter L 4 oz chicken salad D depends on where we are but some easy protein.
