Good News!

I just did one of those at home tests for A1c. I know these things can be off a few percentages but I did pretty good.
I needed a kick in either direction. My results said 4.9
four freakin point nine. I cried. I've been so hard on myself. With my back being messed up and not being able to exercise like I want to...well it's been ugly in my head. Depression has been kicking my @ss completely so I needed to see that I'm doing the best I can much of the time.
I haven't had a number that low since high school I'm betting. I've had luck with these tests in the past compared to lab testing. Not exact but in the general area.
I'm thrilled and really needed to see that number, good or bad.

i'm happy to hear that Melody!
