What's on your Monday Menu, RNYers?
One of the major rules when cutting ones own hair is to not cut too much. Even 1/4 inch can be a lot on short hair. Think of the hairdressers jobs when we all pour back in though. I wonder how long it will take them to get caught up? Cutting/coloring those who haven't had anything done, then fixing the hair of those like me who winged it and did some odd stuff!

And especially since a lot will go out of business in the meantime... there will be a higher demand with fewer places to go!
PRAYING my guy is still in business when this is over.......!
It was beautiful weekend here in Pennsylvania. I took a 3 mile walk on both Saturday and Sunday. This coming weekend it looks to be a lot cooler. Did chicken and shrimp on the grill yesterday and both were delicious. So, I'm having leftover chicken and a salad for lunch and the shrimp and probably broccoli for supper. For breakfast I tried one of the Premier Oats Maple protein shake.
QOTD: I had many favorite teachers through the years and there were very few I didn't like. But, my all time favorite is my 5th grade teacher Mr. Rudy. I still talk to him all these years later, and he gave me the nickname the Great Dane.
Good morning JB and Menu folks. I wish there was a Love button, Beautiful job on the canvas bags, they are fabulous! Sorry to hear about the plumbing issues at your parents. Plumbing is never fun! Speaking of plumbing, I replaced an electric ho****er heater last week, we have noticed that the T&P valve seems to be releasing, I am confident it is not pressure related, I kept the thermostat at the factory setting so I do not think it could be temp related, I may need to change the valve. Will need to make a call today.
QOTD - Hands down Mr Zurlo, he was an amazing Teacher Stern yet friendly,he knew when to pat you on the back or when you needed to be ridden a little harder. His style worked well for me. he is long retired as a Teacher but is still working as the County clerk in our County and is pushing 80 years old.

Exactly - stick to plan and the weight will come off though I do find breaking plan once in a while is not a big deal and may be good for morale. I just forgive it and move on. Sometimes on the days when my weight spikes up it can be discouraging but then I look at that weight graph again.

Thanks!
Thankfully my parent's plumbing issue was really not a huge deal--it was just a little scary because the water from the dishwasher had leaked all over the beautiful wood floors that we installed a few summers ago, and the wood was starting to buckle! We hightailed it over there, even though they seemed to have it under control, just to make sure it wasn't going to leak again and really ruin the floors for good! Hope yours is an easy fix!
2.6 down in 2 weeks is great! I was down 3 oz for my official weigh in on Sat. I'll take it...
Happy Monday menu friends! Another pretty but humid day here near Hot Springs. No rain predicted so Miss Lily and I will have no trouble getting two nice walks in. Accountability was spot on food and stepwise yesterday til I had 2 mini dark chocolate bars before bed that I did not need. Today is a new day though and I will toe the line today. Weight today is 120.4. Two more days of work here then I think we may drive by home to pick up medicines and head to the warehouse near Springfield Illinois where we work a lot. They are not officially open to volunteers just paid staff but have a list of projects for us to do. Lots of painting and flooring in the front bathrooms. All will be much easier without volunteers there. QOTD my high school science teacher Mrs Wilhite. She was a kind and patient person who made what could have been boring classes fun. She also had a dry sense of humor that many teens didn't get but I appreciated. Here's the food plan B 1/2c steel cut oats with protein and peanut butter L 3/4 c cheesy broccoli soup D 4 oz of whatever protein hubby cooks. Stay safe and make some great choices today everyone!
Good morning, Happy (?) Monday!
