Thank you so much for your thoughtful reply. It is really appreciated! Stress is a hard one and it's really clouded my mind(along with the painkillers****ep at it and keep trying. I won't be giving up or in. Thanks again

I'm not really into them either. My grandpa and his family just liked to fight but I found dominos kind of boring.
thanks!

The relatively small city that we live in, has had 2850 positive cases and 140 deaths from it so far. I just don't understand why people can't see what is coming and act accordingly. It doesn't take a crystal ball. Just stay home and be patient, otherwise it will be so so so much worse. Ugh.

It's scary stuff. They called the CDC in yesterday and they'll be here tomorrow to take over. They said to expect the numbers to sharply increase here. We had a lack of testing. 12 have died here so far but there is less than 20 ventilators for our tristate area. Scary scary stuff.

Good Saturday morning all! Well I guess it's almost afternoon now. I am so tired of this yo yo weight. Now that my food scale is working again I am measuring everything, sticking to plan as much as I can and drinking a ton more than I used to.....got in 103.6 ounces again yesterday. Yet this morning I am up 8 ounces again! Ugh! That just burst my bubble. Feeling extra fat, gross and depressed today. Cant win for losing. On the bright side I got the sudden urge last night to scrub and clean my bathtub....not sure where that burst of energy came from, but now I have a sparkling clean tub! Woke up with a headache this morning though....probably from all that bleach smell. Nothing like a Friday night of watching the golden girls and cleaning.
QOTD: Never played many card games except for a few growing up like Uno, Old Maid, Go Fish etc. My brother and his girlfriend recently introduced me to the card game Taco, Cat, Goat, Cheese, Pizza. I had never heard of it, but boy that game will give you a headache! I suck at it, but it's fun.

I have no scientific basis for this but I find that when I have gotten off my hydration and then get back on track, it sometimes takes a day or too for everything to even out. It's like my body says "I'm saving this water, I don't trust her to give me more" and then I'll see it drop back down.

Good morning. It's absolutely beautiful out today. The red tide is here and maybe we can go down and see it tonight. It's one of the most amazing things Mother Nature produces around here and well worth the effort to see.
QOTD: Big Phase 10 players here. Somehow over the years it has evolved that every trip or family gathering ends up in a phase 10 game. As "Mom" I seem to have unilaterally been given the job to have a deck on me. So we've played in several countries, countless airports, hotels, waiting for Christmas dinner to cook, etc. Now we are teaching the grandkids, so it's safe to say the traditional will carry on.
Menu:
B. Hard boiled egg, cottage cheese
L. ???
D. Ham, sweet potato, broccoli
No snacks and trying to push fluids. Food has been a rough journey this week and I am still trying to figure out what works.
Peace, everyone.

What is the red tide? I only know about the one that they had in Florida a few summers ago where they had to close the beaches and yours sounds much better than that!
