What's on your Thursday Menu, RNYers?
G'morning all!
Julia - I hope the glass in the throat feeling goes away. It doesn't sound pleasant at all.
Another foggy morning here. Funny when you East coasters say the temp were high in the 50s and I got out to see the sun. Because I was gonna type the temps are low, in the 50s right now with fog, but it's supposed to warm up to 70 today when the fog burns off.
I finally had a victory day yesterday and did not touch the pb cookies. DS is "sacrificing" and eating the cookies as fast as he can. We still have about 12 cookies left.
QOTD: too many to count. I keep opening tabs. Then when I get frustrated that I can't see what the tabs are I start closing them and I get distracted by what I see and off I go with whatever it is on that page that I was trying to close. Sometimes it's good because I had left something half done.
My meals yesterday:
- B: 1 egg + 2 sausage links
- L: 1.5 cup stir fry cauliflower rice+ 2 oz shredded pork
- S1: fage yogurt + 30 dark choc chips
- S2: hb egg
- D: tuna + 2 hb eggs
- E: 25 minutes elliptical + 50 minutes weight training

Good morning, everybody!
Another day of sleeping in, I guess. I did a tough workout yesterday afternoon and it must have left me exhausted. 5 rounds 15 deadlifts at 225 pounds, 20 box jumps 24 inches, 25 pull-ups. 125 is the most pull-ups I have ever done in one workout.
All of this rain has left our grass really green and the leaves are starting on the trees, so it is really feeling like spring. I think that it is supposed to be a perfect day, weather-wise on Saturday.
QOTD: pretty similar to Liz, IPAD with zillions of tabs left open.
Breakfast: turkey meatballs and cottage cheese
lunch: Chili
Snack: protein bar
Dinner: TBD.

JB, you sound like me and mine is seasonal allergies. Every time the weather changes. My doctor noticed it because I kept going in around the same time of year complaining. He prescribed not over the counter level nose spray and it clears up my symptoms in just a few hours. Just a thought!

Good morning! Sneaking the morning in under the wire for you East Coasters.
QOTD: 2 monitors, 3 email accounts, a ridiculous amount of open tabs searching for products and information. I'm terrible about this.
Meals
B: cottage cheese with protein powder
L: spaghetti squash casserole. The last square and I am SO glad.
D: Pork rib, broccoli mash, tomato slice (Last night's onion gravy smothered pork was a total win. A bit high in calories , low in carbs and since I only ate 1/8 of the recipe, only about 200 calories. So success all around!)

Oh Goodness, I have 21 tabs open right now on my computer... I have them up so I don't forget things or can easily access various pages at once since I do a lot of verification tasks for my job.
No exercise outdoors as it's too warm to take my kids... so we will run around the house.
Breakfast: Malt-o-Meal with unflavored protein powder, 1/4 cup of cheese
Snack: Turkey Jerky
Lunch: homemade Chicken soup
Dinner: Chicken Salad with Veggies, and a few tortellini's

it is going to be 85 today and I am freezing, sweats, warm hoodie and a blanket in my office. I hope it warms up soon.
i have been doing good with my cardio on the elliptical (today was a steady pace on bondi beach while watching a documentary on Oscar pistorious, I swear I ellipticaled faster while seeing the running scenes!) but I dug out the dumbbells yesterday so I can add a couple sets of squats/pushups/crunches and arm exercises too.
