I amaze myself sometimes. It's all thanks to my surgery and now healthy lifestyle. Before surgery I couldn't even keep my own home clean.

Good morning menu friends!

what a cruddy night. Ugh, let?s skip that part.

My mom strained her back yesterday. She is in a lot of pain so today most things will be on my shoulders so to speak. Not a lot of stuff but just feeding the dogs in the morning and cleaning their water water dish and such. I?m working on very little sleep so I also see a few nap attempts in my future. I started listening to a podcast by Brenè Brown. I really like it. Just two shows in but the second, about the Me Too movement really struck close to home. So good.

qotd:I?m pretty OCD about that. Unless I?m looking up chainmaille weaves on a database usually no more than 3.

b:oatmeal with 1 tbs FF half & half

s:PP shake

l:2 small cod fillets..3 ozs, asparagus

s:Yogurt(2tbs cereal) 1 cup popcorn,

d:eggs, turkey sausage, ff cheese(gotten by accident...YUCK!)

s:kodiak protein waffle.

My first 2 items on my list from yesterday will happen on Saturday, it's all under the radar but I am so happy!

QOTD- At least 6 all of the time my email, Teams, Firefox with multiple tabs, my drawing program, our program with all our files and work orders, and I also have 3 monitors. At most I only use 2, so the 3rd is kind of overkill...

Starting Monday Costco is requiring masks, this is one of a few that are requiring it. So I finished 2 masks for me and 2 for my roommate yesterday. I heard from my BFF that about 20 states are going to open back up...what a mistake. I hope this isn't really going to happen.

I need to run across town and pick up supplies for a developer so that will at least get me out of the house for awhile. I got my doggy fix on Tuesday. I went to check on one of my jobs and the construction manager always brings his dog to work so I got my pets in and was content.

Have a great day everyone!

I can't believe all the negativity about Costco requiring masks - I was ELATED!!! I avoided going there for awhile because of the crowds and so many people not wearing masks and not practicing social distancing - but that has now changed with this new mask policy. So happy!!

I can't believe all these states are opening, either. I'm glad my state isn't one of them (they're loosening up things a little, but we're still in safe-at-home status until May 26). We can see what happens with the others before opening ours up, too. I'm afraid it's going to be a huge problem - and it'll be hard for them to close things back down again once they open the floodgates...

I went to Costco during the special hours for those over 60 a few weeks ago. I have to tell you some of those people did not understand social distancing. Costco has been very proactive to help their people and the customers, they get a A in my book.

I agree - it's not Costco - they're doing everything they can. It's some of these people. GRRRR!! Having everyone wearing masks should help, though...

Costco is one of my clients and around here (i'm in the greater Los Angeles Area) a mask has been a regular feature for about a month. I truly feel grateful to live in California at the moment. Our leadership (at least at the governor level and in my part of the state) is serious about social distancing, mask wearing, etc. Gov. Newsom shut down the beaches in Orange County today because of the behavior last weekend. All I could think of was (1) Good job; and (2) ohhhhhhh, OC, you pissed off daddy and now you're in time out. . .

Mornin' All!

It's a gorgeous day out and will be for the next several days. 60s and 70s with no rain in site - perfect walking weather! In fact, I'll go out this morning since I'll be playing online Mah Jongg with my regular Mah Jongg group this afternoon. DH will probably want to take another walk this evening when he's done with work. Works for me!

I'm still dealing with a bunch of water weight. And I know it's water weight since I gained 2 lbs in a day (and I'd been at the lower weight for a few weeks). I'm going to try drinking A LOT of fluids today. I was planning on Beyond Burgers for dinner, but I may have to re-think that since they are loaded with sodium. But then my chicken choices probably are as well (chicken chipotle taco meat or Costco chicken skewers) - but they may not be as bad. ARRGGGH.

QOTD: I usually have three or four tabs open. Right now I have this one, my email, and my portal open. Pretty standard for me....(portal and email are pretty much always open).

TSS: 4 y 10m

B: plain Greek yogurt with strawberry compote, coffee with half & half

MS: protein shake

L: 2 Costco chicken skewers with peanut sauce or adobo-infused Greek yogurt

AS: yogurt pie or L&F yogurt with raspberries

D: Beyond Burger in a "sandwich skinny" with lettuce and light Thousand Island - or else a chicken chipotle taco

ex: walking!!

Good Morning JB and Menuers,

I am sorry your throat is sore. I hope you heal up quickly.

I am truly lucky that life has not really changed for me during this pandemic. Small changes like NO Chicken and my finger nails really took a big hit. After I scrapped off the gel polish they just peel as soon as they grow a little bit but I know they will be healthier in the long run. I just feel so bad for others that have lost jobs and are financially devastated. I just hope we all come out of this better people for going through this when we hit the other side. I see a lot of good on the news right now. Hope it stays that way.

QOTD: I work with 3 computer screens on my desk. So bunches of open tabs.

Accountability: Terrible No exercise. Coconut cashew crisps with peanut butter.

TSS: 2 years 4 Month 19 days 136.4 (lowest 130.8)

CB: Dark roast coffee with SF ID Caramel Macchiato w/Miralax and Fiber

MS: Oikos triple zero salted Caramel Greek yogurt, Cranberry almond elevation bar. Strawberry's and Chocolate hummus

CB2: Dark roast coffee with SF ID Caramel Macchiato

L: Slow cooker Spaghetti squash with ground turkey meat sauce and Sargento Balance Breaks, two Aldi stuffed mushrooms

D: Crack Chicken quesadilla

Water and vitamins: On track. I take a Bariatric advantage Ultra multi w/iron I use bariatric advantage Calcium chews and my blood work has been good. My B12 has been High so I cut my sublingual to every 3rd or 4th day. And I have now added 500mg of Magnesium

Exercise: Weather permitting 3 mile run if not I'll do a little treadmill.

Everybody have a Great day.

Brightest Blessings,

Chrissy
