I am hoping it brings me more balance to my diet. I was following you doing it as well as Liz and thought I would try. So far so good.

I don't know if I shared that my son became vegetarian about 6-9 months ago. About a month ago my daughter sent me the recipe for chick pea tuna salad. OMG!! It's sooooo good. Garbanzo beans have always been my favorite beans but this salad is out of this world. And now that I'm WW I can actually enjoy it rather than just taking a bite while making it for DS.
Anyway, just wanted to say I love chick pea tuna salad.

Similar to Sheila finding a chickpea recipe she loves, last night I made a recipe with chickpeas (I did include chicken but you don't have to!). I diced half a red onion and sliced the other half. I put a can of drained and rinsed chickpeas into a bowl with the onion slices, tossed them with olive oil and salt and pepper and harissa, then spread them on a foil lined pan to roast in oven for 20ish minutes at 425. Then sautéed the diced onion with salt and pepper, then added vegetable stock and more harissa and couscous and water, brought to boil, removed and covered. Then add the zest of a lemon to couscous and fluff. Then add together in a bowl with an avocado/sour cream/water cream mixture on top. Squeeze lemon over top. So good! I have only ever used chickpeas for hummus before!

Good Morning and Happy Friday-Eve (I think?!?). So glad you're feeling better and got to enjoy some time outside. It was supposed to be close to 95 degrees but I think it got to about 87 but should be around 88-9O today. I have a few calls in schedule today and then this afternoon Em has a birthday parade to go to for her friend that's turning 18, and then later tonight she has another one for a friend turning 16, so she's been working hard on some posters this week.

Accountability: I had a piece of my German chocolate cake from the freezer (it's one I've had In there for awhile made with zucchini) and PB crackers.

QOTD: On my laptop I have to have a few open to watch some stats throughout the day, so usually three google chrome and one EI. On my phone I am notorious for closing out all apps when I'm done and I don't keep text threads (except one with John and one with John and Emily).

TSS: 5 years 8 months

Another pretty day here at Hot Springs. Miss Lily and I already walked 2 miles to the mailbox and back to mail a payment and will do a lunch walk and another long walk after work. We'll both sleep good tonight. Today's job is carrying up all the items out of the storage rooms and unloading them in the gym at the office for a yard sale. It'll probably take today and tomorrow. We're staying probably through Tuesday or Wednesday of next week so I can help her sort closets in the office and get rid of duplicates there too. QOTD 5 or so. Accountability was spot on food and stepwise yesterday and weight is 120.2 today. Here's the food plan B 1/2c steel cut oats with protein and peanut butter L 3/4 c chili with cheese D 4 oz polish sausage. I did hit 100 ounces of fluids yesterday and that's the goal for today too. Stay safe and make your very best choices today!
