What's on your Thursday Menu, RNYers?

After yesterday's talk about how hard it is to find chicken in the grocery store this week, I thought this was appropriate!
I am definitely feeing better. I don't feel especially run down or tired anymore, but I still feel like I swallowed glass and have a serious sore throat. It's weird! But this follows the same pattern I have had all year, where I feel like a really bad cold is coming on, but I just get a day or two of symptoms before it clears up quickly. I don't get what this, is or why it's been happening so often... On the one hand its hella annoying, but on the other hand I am so grateful that it doesn't linger.
Accountability: Perfect! No extras at all and I did the elliptical in the morning and took an hour long REAL walk outside! Temps were in the high 50s and the sun was shining. I didn't need to go somewhere virtual and exotic to see sun for a change. Today it's back to raining for a stretch, so I will hit the treadmill for a run through Spain this morning :)
QOTD: How many internet tabs do you have open at once, typically? I hate having a billion open, so I try hard throughout the day to limit them back down to 5 or 6 at most.
My office is having a virtual party at lunch today there is a Mexican Food theme :) I am making myself some chicken & veggie nachos! That was an "expensive" points meal, but it's nice that I can make up for it on either side.

Morning! It's currently storming out there. It's supposed to be a generally rainy day, I think. That will disappoint Kid #2 who has found a love for bike riding and went nearly 10 miles yesterday by herself (around our neighborhood, where I can manage to run 15+ miles without ever leaving!). Kid #1 (14) got offered a spot in a virtual high school for Fall. It's a public charter school, and I'm unclear about if we're going to accept the spot or not. She applied to two and is on the wait list for the other.
QOTD: I have about 8 standard tabs and a 2nd "incognito" window that I use for my school email address. That can go up to probably 15+ during my work day. I always try to clean them up though as I don't like the tabs to be so small I can't recognize what they are at a glance.
My Food:
- Coffee w/ Cream x2
- Eggs & Bacon
- Turkey & Cheese
- Pulled Pork Nachos (I'll pass on the chips and top it with cheese, banana peppers, and sour cream)
I really need to get to the grocery store. It's been about 10 days and we're running low on produce. I'll probably go tomorrow when I can officially attribute it to May in the budget Also, as of tomorrow I can officially say I didn't put gas in my car for the entire month of April (it's actually been since March 13th). I almost did the other day when we went to the a couple towns over where gas was $1.30/gallon, but I really wanted to just not have put gas in it for a whole month!

Congratulations on your kid getting accepted into virtual high school. She must be loving the stay at home situation since she can do school from home. And also congrats on the 1 month of now gas. I need to still refill once a week. How often did your refuel before the lock down?

On March 11th, I had $93 in my wallet and I now have $91, without a trip to the bank. Just a couple of tips at the Starbucks drive through window. I have spent on my credit cards, though.

I went for a walk the other day and I saw a bunch of cars lined up at the ATM and I thought, 'what on earth are you all spending cash on right now?'

I know. Even the few times I've been at a store I opted to use my card to avoid the interaction.

Morning everyone! I did better yesterday than I've done all week on my fluid intake. Was able to get in 103.6 ounces. Will try to aim for that again today. Was also down another 6 ounces this morning. 2 more ounces to go before losing those 2 pounds I gained and then I'll be back on track to getting closer to my goal. My accountability was decent yesterday. The only thing I had that wasn't on plan was a sugar free fudgesicle last night. It's so gloomy and rainy here today. Ugh
QOTD: Usually around 6-7 with all the systems I have to use for work including email.
B: premier shake
B2: coffee w/Splenda X 2
L: low sodium turkey and a few raw baby carrots and radishes in light Italian dressing
D: hard boiled egg and more turkey
S: L&F yogurt with banana
