Whats on your Wednesday Menu, RNYers?
G'morning all!
Sorry you are feeling under the weather, Julia. Hope it passes soon. Your runs/walks sound really interesting. I'm starting to get jealous of walks in Portugal, then runs on the beaches in Hawaii.
Of all the people missing DH not being home, I think Luna is suffering the most. Last night she was either barking at her shadows or we had some kind of animal in our back yard. We usually have raccoons or deers. I think Luna was more aggressive or protective than usual, with DH not being home. Kept barking and pacing around till about 1:30 am. Finally I hugged her tight in bed, and didn't let her go until she fell asleep. Reminded me of kids when they were little and afraid.
QOTD: 1) Hair stylist 2)esthetician 3)starbucks. In that order.

Sorry, but I have to chuckle at the PB cookies. I too used to think I disliked them until I didn't...

Awww, I think its cute that the smaller the animal, the more they think they are in charge of safety. I have had big giant dogs that just yawn when a stranger comes to the door... but the little ones are always so protective. I took a walk on Saturday and this teensy little dog--looked under 10 pounds, was running 100MPH across the yard and baking like crazy when I walked by. It was adorable :)

Funny thing is Luna usually acts like a princess. Never barks when the door bell rings. At the park or during walks when other dogs bark she completely ignores them, she's almost a chicken. But some nights, she goes bananas for something in the backyard. I can't leave the sliding door open when it's warm because then she would wake up the whole neighborhood. And just like a little baby I gotta turn on the fan to make white noise to get her to sleep.

Hmmm...so is it pb cookies WITH choc chips or pb chips in a pb cookie?
I guess I'm digging a really deep hole for myself here.
DH says I'm like an alcoholic. I wake up in the morning almost hung over from my prev day's sweet eating and telling everybody don't let me eat any more, but by mid afternoon I'm like OK let's see how I can bake something new.

LOL. Ran this by DS and he committed to eat the already baked cookies really fast, so I can make a new batch with choc chips in them.
Aaaah, to be young and able to eat whatever you want, as much as you want and not gain an oz!
