Good morning!

QOTD - My favorite vegan restaurant, I miss it so.

*came back to edit my food!

Breakfast - fasting, hot coffee and topo chico

lunch - kept fasting

Snack - hit 22 hours fasting, and feel so amazing! I broke the fast with a small V8, mandarins, strawberries and a few red grapes.

Dinner - Slice of veggie pizza, salad, Gardein "chicken" slider and a brownie for dessert!

I hope everyone has a great day!

Christina

Let it begin with me.

That new treadmill will be so much fun. My husband had a treadmill waiting when I came home from my RNY surgery and I used it every day for years. Then gradually stopped using it and it sat abandoned for years.

Since I can't go to a pool now, I am back to the treadmill. I never thought about apps to keep it interesting. I am going to see if there is anything available for a boring old machine.

QOTD: The first place I would head for is the swimming pool. I have done water aerobics several times a week for most of my life. I love to exercise in water and really miss it. I used to have a swimming pool at my last house. It is not the same doing water aerobics alone. I love being with people and a good instructor.

I have had years when colds kept coming and it is miserable. I hope that is ending now with summer on the way.

Good morning JB and menu Folks. Do you know what day it is?? Last night we Went for a nice but short walk down a nature trail not far from our house that leads to the lake. This weekend we plan on getting our deck furniture out and get the Deck whipped into shape. Need to finish opening my folks home up and then do their grocery shopping for them as they will need to quarantine in VT when they arrive from FL, still trying to determine if I am going to be able to go down there to help them.

QOTD - anywhere with our friends, we have an active group of friends, miss the dinners, drinks, live music, and fun that we have as a group.

B- Hard Boiled eggs

L - turkey, light mayo and ultra thin provolone sandwich

Good morning JB and Menuers,

Sorry to hear you are under the weather. Hope you shake it off quickly. Can you call off work when you WFH and don't feel well? How does that work?

I made a trip to Aldi this morning just to stock up on some meat. I was there when the store opened and they had no Boneless Skinless Chicken breast. Damn I really wanted to make Crack chicken I did get boneless thighs do you think they will work?

QOTD: My hairdresser works out of her home and I can not go any longer so I am actually going to get my color on Monday. I also need a mani and Pedi. I have been going to target all along since they are the only ones that carries my husbands ID salted Carmel mocha and have been able to find sanitizer there.

Accountability: I'll be honest I think it is great but the scale says different. I only had a few cheese curds extra and that was during a meal. Hmmm Could it be all the exercise I am actually building muscle? I am hoping that is the case.

Yeah they encourage us to still take sick and vacation days when we need to log off. I am not that sick at all, just a low key cold. Even if we were in the office, I would have gone in.

chicken thighs are actually better than breasts to use for something that you're making in a slow cooker or IP (esp for stews and similar type things). They don't get as dried out. They should work fine for crack chicken.

My wife called me crazy when I bought a 40 lb box of skinless/boneless chicken, had them vacuum pack one breast per pack as they are huge, I have to cut them in half. Paid $2.09 a lb. I am happy I snagged the deal.
