What's on your Tuesday Menu, RNYers?
Good morning JB and Menuers,
So great to have a new treadmill. Isn't it the best to have a handyman around the house. My DH is great at those things but I see men around the office that I wouldn't trust to plunge a toilet. I have never had a new treadmill I have always got 2nd hand ones. And now you got me thinking that could be a great gift to me for being such an awesome wife. Hmmmm. Looks like I need to sow some seeds.
QOTD: I think I am R2 oh no I mean D2. Can I be R2D2" LOL
Accountability: Not good food wise. My calories had to be off and that Keto pull apart bread is not helping but I can not throw crap away. I can not waste food to this day it is such a struggle. I may chuck in the backyard for the wildlife. That sounds better than actually continuing to eat it. Lord give me strength.

G'morning all!
Ooh, that treadmill looks great. I love it that you can take "tours" on it, this way isn't boring. But make sure they send you the mat.
DH now is an essential worker. He left for work yesterday. He says it's weird, there are very few in the bldg. I sent him with a whole tub of Lysol wipes so he can keep wiping whatever he touches. His hotel actually needed some kind of doc from his employer to attest that he is an essential worker in order to give him a room. Also there is no maid service at the hotel. He had already decided to ask for them not to clean his room but this makes it even easier.
Yesterday for the first time I made PB cookies! The whole reasoning was I don't like pb so I'll stay away from them. Well...they are actually yum, so until DS eats them all there is danger in the kitchen. To be fair he ate 4 of them last night and even texted his sister and dad that mom outdid herself with the pb cookies. The things I do for this kid to get a smile out of him.
QOTD: A1 or A3, even though I'm not a big burger fan.
My meals yesterday:
- B: Protein coffee
- L: Chicken skewer (3) + Fage yogurt
- S1: beef jerky
- S2: fage yogurt & 30 dark choc chips
- S3: PB cookie (home made)
- D: Tuna & hb eggs
- E: 25 min elliptical + 50 min weight training
Happy Tue!

Good morning friends! Seeing a definite downtrend in the level of work this week. A bit scary, but still a lot of customers reaching out, so we are still blessed to be able to work. We got very organized on food this weekend. Especially proteins. I do believe them when they say a disruption is coming to the food supply chain. I think it's going to mostly show in meat prices jumping up. So, my husband shopped, and we vacuum sealed and got stuff in the freezer. I'm making a weekly menu, and my husband is filling in the fresh stuff with a once a week trip to the store. I can't believe this weekend it will be 5 weeks since I have entered a store. I don't want our area to open up too soon. Watching all the people on tv who just can't wait to be at the beach with 10,000 other people seems nuts to me.
QOTD: I'm going with D 4. Now that we are of a "certain age", we regularly plan our life around down time and relaxation. A day spent at a spa, a day not designed to start until noon or starting early and finishing with a long evening of dinner and wine and views. We always want to absorb the local culture and cuisine.
MENU PLAN
Coffee and Gatorade Free
B: emiepie egg salad
L: spaghetti squash "casserole". (this looks much more vibrant than it tastes. After this container is gone, I need to work on bumping up the flavors. But my husband gave me an A for presentation, lol)
D: ground beef, broccoli, cheddar
Snack: ??? Hoping to skip it today
Maintaining at goal. Got in a little work out last night...hoping to make it two in a row.
Peace!
