I'll have to keep this list in mind other than the coffee. I'm missing the taste and caffeine right now.

I am at the point where not one thing in this house appeals to me. It is where I usually decide to call a friend and eat some meals in new restaurants. That is not an option and going out to a grocery store to buy something interesting and tasty is also not a real option.

Stores have so few good options right now. I can't remember my last resturant meal. It must have been sometime in 2019. My freezer is so packed it is hard to close it. The pantry is overflowing with things for "just in case". I have plenty of fresh and canned fruits and vegetables, eggs, cheese, salad fixings, frozen fish, packages of beef, chicken, and fish that have been vacuum sealed.

All I have to do is make a plan and follow through. I am sure my appetite will kick in at some point and I will figure out what to eat today.

Good morning - So I added foods this weekend that I have not been eating. Light bread and muffins. Baked Chips. I did not go over my daily points allowance. I weighed in this morning and I was up 1.2 pounds from Friday. Did I make a mistake by adding those foods? Even though I stayed within my points allowance?

I have a smart scale that tells my weight, BMI, fat content, bone mass, and water content. When my weight goes up or down, I check what is happening with fat and water. You are probably holding a bit more water and the remedy for that is to drink more water today than usual.

The theory is that the body holds on to water if it thinks that is a shortage (like after eating more salt than usual) and lets go of water when it is sure it has enough. My smart scale and fitness tracker are connected to the Weigh****chers app. Both of mine are from Garmin. But there are other great companies out there.

Here is my meal yesterday. I finished the week in deficit for the pts and went down about 6 oz. Not complaining bcz it's a downward trend. Long gone are the days I could lose 5-6 lbs in a week.

Mike, IMHO I have a feeling that because I added pretzel sticks to my diet in the last 2-3 days I slowed down my loss. So I'm planning on taking those out and see how it works next week. It's a trial and error process. I loved having those pretzels and maybe when I'm at maintenance I can have them again, but in the WL phase maybe not.

My meals yesterday. I never pre plan, or when I do I hardly stick to it. So it's better for me to always look back.

I started back on Weigh****chers in January 2019. I was 30 pounds over my goal. I eat bread, muffins, pretzels, chips, candy, cookies, potatoes, rolls, and anything else. As long as I stay in my points, I am fine. I do notice a difference in water weight when I eat salty things. My smart scale confirms that.

At first it was strange to not be sticking to my high protein, low carb diet that I had been keeping to for years. I am down 16 pounds from when I started. Slow but steady. I do want to lose the last 14 pounds and that is why I decided to start this thread and keep myself more accountable.

I was up a pound today too. My weigh in day is Wednesday, so that is when I make any decisions about points for the following week.

I started tracking again today. I finally made myself get back on the scale and I am up 8 pounds in the last 2 months. I have managed to keep 6 off so I will focus on that. 6 down/24 to go to get back to goal. I can do it!!

I will admit this who crisis is getting to me. I am tired of being cooped up but I will do what I have to to stay safe and healthy for my kids. I hope everyone else is doing well!!

Welcome back Laura. The last few months have blown all of our lives in crazy directions. The good news is that eight pounds should disappear quickly and will not be turning into 18.
