Weigh****chers - Friday
I see I have two Fridays this week. It is really Saturday but I was not too awake at 5:00 this morning.
Getting a handle on weight is all about starting over. I plan my food the first thing in the morning and then make changes if needed during the day. Not having a plan is the worst thing I can do to myself.
I use the Weigh****chers app. I use all of my points, including activity points and weekly points. I weigh myself every day, but record Weigh****chers weight once a week on Wednesday.
Back when Weigh****chers was much newer (I joined in 1973 and became a lifetime member then) they said that it takes one month for every year that you have carried the weight. So you can lose 2-1/2 pounds in a week, because you have not carried it for a year.
I am carrying an extra 14 pounds that I have been hanging around since 2016. I gave myself four months to lose them starting January 1 with 20 to lose and gave myself until the first of June. I only lost six so far so the remaining 14 still have to go. My goal was to be swimsuit ready by Memorial Day and I don't really think I will be going to any pools or beaches this summer.
I will still lose this weight. If I had done nothing starting Jan 1, I would have been up ten pounds or more by now. I can tell when my body is ready to lose expect to lose two pounds a week for the next seven weeks. That is going to take a lot of planning, a lot of exercise and a lot of determination. But I expect to be at my goal or very close by June 14, rather than my original date of June 1.
To keep myself on track, I am going to post a daily Weigh****cher thread on the RNY board every day. I hope it helps others to attain their goals.
