Another beautiful day here in Hot Springs! Miss Lily and I have taken a short walk already because it's so pretty out. We'll take a walk at lunch too and a nice long one after work,even if mom doesn't feel like it! Today's work will be some painting and moving furniture back into the cabin I finished painting. Yesterday I worked in the flower bed to lunch planting and finished cleaning out the storage room in the afternoon. Accountability was spot on food and stepwise yesterday and weight is 120.2 today. QOTD wheels(we're in our RV) and a goofy boxer named Lily. Here's the food plan B 1/2c steel cut oats with protein and peanut butter L 4 oz chicken salad D 4 oz cheddar brats. No snacks and at least 100 ounces of fluids too. Pics are the only before pic I have and a pic from son's wedding in September and a goofy selfie of us on our walk yesterday. It sounds like you and Lily have so much fun on those walks.

I have a friend who lost his wife to cancer and then his dog passed away a week later. He decided that he did not need to be completely alone. He went to the pound and adopted another dog. It is part collie and about 40 pounds. They take walks everyday and he got to know the neighbors and make new friends.

It is so satisfying to be able to clean and organize things. People like you who are dedicated to helping others are too rare in this world.

Real life begins where your comfort zone ends

Thanks,White Dove. I really enjoy helping and especially as I've been given a second chance with my weight loss surgery. Every day I do these simple chores,I'm reminded of how I couldn't even keep my own house clean before surgery. It and Lily keep me on the straight and narrow.
