Good Friday morning everyone.

I sound like a broken record but what an awful night! I?m tired of pain. I felt like throwing up before bed last night. Thankfully that passed. Not sure what was up with that.

food was good yesterday.

qotd:We have a collection of color WWII photos my grandpa took while in Italy. Also have his dress uniform top. I?m so proud of him .

b:steel cut oats with pumpkin and sf creamer

l:low carb tortilla, egg, 2% cheddar and turkey sausage(Ended up only eating a third before I felt sick...it just didn't sit well...at all) and a banana

s:PP shake with strawberries and popcorn thrown

d:Parmesan crusted tilapia and two Brussel sprouts(the sauce was to peppery) and a small handful of grapes

s:low carb tortilla, also had a couple pieces of chocolate... those are gone now. I'm still ok for the day but would of rather not had the chocolate.

I still have a LONG way to go but you can still see a difference I guess.

He first landed in N.Africa then landed in Sicily. Somewhere there is a map but he went up the west coast and into the southern most Alps. I know he mentioned Monte Cassino a lot. He was a sgt with a tank battalion. He loved Italy but hated N.Africa. He always said it was beautiful country and the people very kind and always offered them a meal even if it meant they could not eat themselves. He always remembers that. I also have a ton of old postcards from Rome and some old Italian money. In N.Africa he always had to sleep with a helmet on so the native people(I'm not sure exactly what country he was in...he didn't like talking about it) could see that they were with the allies. They didn't like the German forces so much.

i will gather some photos and post them tomorrow. I have to get on my laptop for it but I sure will!
