JB: that summer body is worth fighting to get back to. All your pictures are cute, but the summer one belongs on a poster to inspire others to get in shape.

I wish working from home was just relaxing. It has been stressful and nuts at work, so many urgent requests. I am barely sleeping between my back and that stress. Jeez! Hope it calms, even a little.

Accountability was great. Only off plan was that I ate 6 animal crackers as the choice I made when taking my evening meds that require food (I take them around 9 vs. at dinner).

QOTD - My wife collects puzzles and she buys them constantly. I think we have about 150 in sealed boxes still. It's her pandemic saving grace. But that's her thing. I guess I'd probably say I have a pair of custom roller skates (hence why all my screen names end with Skater), built by a guy who ran the skate shop at the HUB/Axle Norridge back in the day. They were built in 1972 and I had them rebuilt in 2000. They are sweet, but there are hardly any roller rinks around here anymore. They closed the last good one near me - Orbit in Palatine - a couple years ago. I recently had an offer to sell them for $150 for the parts. They were all custom made and if they break - you are out of luck. So people search for them. However, I suspect its possible there are only a few left of these design in the world now. Darn, I miss those skating days. I had so much fun. I remember as a kid learning to skate and not knowing any dances. One Saturday an elderly lady came up to me and said, you're a good skater but can't dance for xxxx. I'll make you a deal - I'll teach you to dance and you'll be my dance partner when we are both together at the rink. Bam. I learned the fox trot, 13-step, collegiate, waltz, etc. So much fun!!!!

Here are the before and after - can you pick me out in the crowd? I know it will be tough. A few weeks ago the QOTD was what did you miss from your pre-WLS clothes. I said my leather jacket. Well, there it is!!! Oh darn, now you can find me in the pix

PWO - 1/4 protein bar

B - Oatmeal, strawberries, nuts

L Spiral veg spaghetti with chicken, apple

S Mandarins and a beer later (we are having a happy hour via zoom tonight)

D Salad and oddly, possibly a small slice of pizza. I can only eat a small slice, so the risk is low. My wife wants to make her fav frozen one and I have to admit it tastes okay.

In a way yeah, but I'll get to see his brother sometime if hockey ever starts up again. I'm in Chicago and a partial season tix holder for the Blackhawks. The Preds and Hawks need some mojo and I'm not sure Subban's departure was the issue for Preds. Hey but I still miss Schmaltz.

Good morning, and Happy Friday! Everyone's pics are so great!

I may be the anomaly here, but, I don't have any pictures of me from before. I'm sure my mom does, but I just didn't keep any.

QOTD - More Star Wars collectibles and costumes than most people. At any given moment, I can change into anything from a Sith cheerleader to an Imperial Gunner. My husband's attire ranges from Stormtrooper armor to a Jedi, to a Tusken Raider.

Breakfast - none, fasting so hot tea and coffee

Lunch - Feeling like a veggie sammich with chips

Snack - fruit smoothie, berries, water, oat milk, chia seed, hemp seed protein

Dinner - I've asked for pizza. I could use some pizza in my life.

I hope everyone has a great day and excellent weekend!

Christina

Let it begin with me.
